3 Nothing happened so far, both teams still playing themselves into it. Liverpool pass it around the back.

5 Matip to Firmino to Moreno out wide but Moreno's pass is intercepted and the move breaks down. Shaquiri pushes Solanke in the back on the break and gives away a foul.

6 Stoke cough up possession from a throw in, Can breaks through the midfield passes to Mane' who plays in Moreno, the cross is cut out and Stoke clear. Gini handballs to give away a foul but nothing come from it and Liverpool have the ball back.

8 Gomes makes a nice interception, Liverpool play through the middle and earn a throw in, but the ball is lost down the side as a pass to Firmino is overhit and out for a goal kick

10 Rare stoke attack down the left comes to nothing as Diouf lets the ball run out of play for a throw in, Liverpool give the ball back to Stoke but they can't do anything with it. Gomez earns a freekick, Liverpool play it quickly and then pass it around the back.

Little bit disjointed all over the pitch - from both sides - at the moment. Still early in the game though, with it being one of the 8pm kick-offs.

12 Gini at the back looking for an option, plays a long through ball over the top to Mane' who is just just offside, was clear through but timed it wrong. Unlucky. Klopp happy with vision though.

15 Nothing really happening so far, Liverpool probing with a few balls over the top, but Stoke resolute for the time being. Firmino challenges Shawcross and gives away the foul.

18 Stoke try to hit back right away, Shaqiri crosses into the box to Crouch but to close to Mignolet who gathers comfortably.

20 Liverpool knock it around in the middle and the back, 100 passes later Lovren hoofs it to the Stoke goalkeeper. Disappointing that.

Just to clarify this a bit, Gomez manages to keep it in play brilliantly on the right byline - it was millimetres from going out of play, it comes to Solanke who plays a delicate pass to Mane, who controls first time and chips the Stoke keeper. It really was a delicious goal.

25 Gomez  down the line earns a corner. Ox over it, whipped in but doesn't beat the first man. Disappointing really, Shaqiri loses the ball and Liverpool on the attack, cut out by Shawcross.

26 Ox gets the ball on the edge of the box and takes a snap shot, keeper makes a sharp save down right and gathers at the 2nd attempt. Solanke stopped the follow up and would have been interesting to see had he not stopped if he could have got to the ball. Strikers should always just keep going you never know what can happen.

32 Stoke with a long ball freekick into our area, Crouch wins the first header but we win the second ball and clear.

34 Can plays a hard pass through the middle, Firmino touches it on to the running Mane' but it's too strong and the Stoke keeper mops up and clears. Good passage of play though

Stoke have had the best of the last 15 minutes in all honesty. Whilst Stoke haven't had a definite chance on goal per se, they've spent a good deal of time in Liverpool's penalty area and looked relatively threatening.

36 Moreno with a nice run down the line plays it to Solanke on the edge of the box but a wayward touch gives the defender a chance to nick the ball. Good move breaks down.

At the other end Diouf gets the ball on the edge of the area and Mignolet cleans him out! Should be a red gets a yellow.

40 Shaqiri shapes to take the kick hits the wall and goes out for a corner. Good cross for the corner, Migs comes out and gets nowhere near it, flicks off a Liverpool head and out for another corner. The next corner is cleared.

Solanke has his tame shot saved - should have done better.
Stoke break quickly from the keeper's pass
Diouf is through on goal
Matip makes a right horlicks of the challenge
Migs puts his foot through Diouf and sends him half way to Nepal and is the last man

Mane has too much time and space to think about it. Looked like he changed his mind about 4 times before he kicked it. He ended up about 12 yards out when he took the shot, he could in reality have brought it a bit closer to the goal, but that's nitpicking slightly.

Aaaaand we're back, Liverpool kick off and earn a corner early on. Ox takes and out for another corner. Swung in and cleared by Shawcross back in by Can and cleared again, Mane gets tackled and Ox is offside.

Be interesting to get Lfsea's view on this. Aldridge is saying that it looks as though Mane is not running full speed, as if he's fearing his hamstring going. Does that look the case?

48 Shaqiri crossed into the box, Lovren heads out but straight to Allen, who's shot is blocked and out for corner. Nothing from the corner and Can and Gini combine to clear

50 Crouch gets the ball to feet and plays in Diouf who wins a corner, to close to Migs and he claims easily. Liverpool break through Can and Moreno, but nothing comes from it and Liverpool build again.
