Quality of OPs for these this season has been very high. Nice one again.

We've got man United a few days later, full strength? I'd hope not completely, I'd go half and half. If it's anything like that premier league game earlier in the season they won't come out there own half. I'd go for the following 442 diamond...

                            Karius
TAA.       Lovren.          Klavan.       Moreno

                            Stewart
            Lallana.                 Wijnaldum

                          Woodburn

                  Origi.             Sturridge

That was probably partly through fear of Man's pace. I think they'll see the first leg as their best hope so I'd expect them to be a bit more aggressive in this one. Hopefully that'll play into our hands.

Forget Sunday for now, what happened to the old 'one game at a time' approach? Wembley at stake here, best 11 should play I reckon.
Anyway, tired of reading how shite the mancs are on this site lately, so why suddenly worry about then now, and put a weaker out time cos we face them on Sunday.

Fuck the mancs don't pay them that respect by jepodising our chances here by resting players for this game.

Our strongest team is capable of twatting both of them in 4 days.

  • There's a golden sky on the way
Come on Redmen!!
Difficult balance this. Expect about 80% full team with plan to start resting some after 60 mins if going well. Main decision is who to start up front. I would be tempted to go with Origi again as we will almost certainly want Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana on Sunday.
Sturridge first option off the bench both matches.
Come On You Mighty Scouse Reds!!

Best 11 and that includes Mignolet.

Weird decision.

Our best team is with Mignolet in sticks.

Play our strongest team ,get some rhythm going/back, four days rest and on to Old Trafford. We don't have Europe to worry about this season but we are likely to be involved next season so time to start the process of getting used to mixing and matching.

Not at all.

But this is an important semi final against a strong side. He has looked far from ready and will be targeted.

Play your best side to get ready for weekend.

No Fonte for Southampton, that should work in our favour. Think we'll have more then enough to beat them. Hopefully beat them and go into Sunday full of confidence with a injury free squad. Come on you mighty reds!

Fonte has had a poor season its not really a bonus.
No problem with Karius being our cup keeper until he is ready he will have a strong side infront of him.

You not think it's risky?

I want the kid to be a success but this is a make or break game and massive for us.

Bullshit scheduling again. We travel away to Southampton on a Wednesday, while United play their FA cup game a day before us and that too at Old Trafford. They get one extra day of rest with no travel. This just gives them an unfair advantage for the game on Sunday.

All I will say is that you should go into a game like this playing your strongest 11. Like I say I have commented on Karius previously which got me into trouble.

Lets not look for excuses. We'll have enough time to prepare and enough ability to beat these lot on Sunday. Just as long as the players stick to what the manager wants them to do and believe they can win this game.

Really looking forward to the game and I'll be happy with whichever side Jrgen picks. Talk of favourites like Karius v Mignolet etc is just boring. Support whoever plays and let's hope we can go one step further than last year!

Full strength side for this one, no risks and let's make sure we get to the final. Winning a cup will be huge for the squad and manager.

Sturridge in for Mane as he's looked sharp and he's our best finisher. I'm assuming Matip, Henderson and Coutinho won't be fit to start.....

                 Migs

Clyne   Klavan   Lovren  Milner

                   Can

      Lallana             Winny

Origi      Sturridge       Firmino

This team could be used in a nice diamond to get Origi more central

   Migs

Clyne   Klavan   Lovren  Milner

                   Can

      Lallana             Winny

                  Firmino

            Origi      Sturridge

Dont call him Winny please.

He's had time away from the spotlight, no reason to think he can't improve like Mignolet did in his time out of the side.
