I have exactly the same reasoning as you. Right down to Digimon.

Went for Nessy (pretty much love every one of his picks, especially Round the Twist) and Sheer Magnetism (Rugrats, Moomins in all it's fucked up glory, and Eerie Indiana is one of my favourite shows ever).

Samie had me until I reached Digimon and I realised I'd probably throw my TV out of the window rather than watch that shite.

Think I might have to give minus points in my head for Magic Roundabout and Charlie Brown / Snoopy.

Similar thinking to Betty here. In a way it came down to the shows I don't remember as well. I can't give "Doug"  the benefit of the doubt when it's up against things I personally enjoyed as a kid.
On the other hand, the older stuff got repeated a lot, so the youngsters here might still have fond memories for shows that were technically a bit before their time.

I knew when I picked Knights of the Zodiac that it wasn't dubbed into English until the 00's, so it wasn't going to get many votes, but I couldn't not pick it as it was such a huge part of my childhood. It was all about the memories for me anyway.

Went with Betty and Samie, just for Doug.
