Kay has no idea, Buvac is already here:

James Pearce, Echo: "Jurgen Klopp boost: New Liverpool FC assistant Zeljko Buvac starts work at Melwood today

New Liverpool assistant boss Zeljko Buvac has been given the green light to start work alongside Jurgen Klopp.

The 54-year-old experienced Bosnian coach will oversee training for the first time at Melwood on Wednesday afternoon after flying in to Merseyside.

Buvac’s arrival had been delayed due to work permit issues but that has now been sorted and he will be on the touchline for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Tottenham."

I doubt Enrique isolation was solely a Rodgers choice. Club wanted him off the books by the sounds of it.

I would hope it is only the managers choice.

Why would anyone else make that decision?

Our fans make out like Enrique is some liability.  He's been injured the last two years mostly, but prior to that he was a very good player for us and could be again.  He's a better defender than Moreno.

He has his limitations for sure and I'm sure he might have lost focus with his football, but he always been a decent player for us. Whether he is now is another question of course but he's our only other senior left-back and he'd be very handy to have available to us.

I've tried not to be judgmental about the Enrique situation as we've never really known what has gone on behind closed doors.

We know he was injured for quite a lot of the past 2 seasons but since he's been back, has been completely frozen out.

When he was fit, he was ok for us, far from worst left back we've had.

Don't see why he couldn't have been brought back in as back up left back this season seen as he's still here and the transfer window has closed.

I thought it was mooted that his knee has swelling issues pretty much after each time he plays? I would imagine that would affect his training regimen too. Think that's why he will play a game and then not play again for a while, his knee is such that he can't play multiple games in a short span and as such can never really get a run in the team?

Who the fuck is in charge of medicals for us -.- This seems like a long-term recurring problem which could've been diagnosed while signing the player.
To support a team in success is easy. But, to support a team even during bad times shows real character.

I don't think it was an issue back when he signed, but occurred following a knee injury and subsequent surgery back in 2013. As far as I know it's been an unsolved mystery issue since and he hasn't had a run of games for us since then and is merely seeing out his contract and picking up games when he's needed but can't be relied upon consistently.

If you look at his appearance numbers for us by year it tells the whole story. He played 36 games for Newcastle season before joining us. In 11/12 he played 43 games, 12/13 (the season of his injury) 35 games, and hasn't featured in double digit numbers since.

Yeah I'd love him to have loads more time but sure it'll be fine. I'm just so excited, Klopp just breeds confidence and I'm sure that will pass onto the players too, so I'm dying to see him stood in our technical area actually running the team. Have no expectations at the moment at all, but just so excited for our manager to get started!

Nice variation in sock etiquette.  One has them stretched all the way up to his knees, another has them covered by the tracksuit bottoms, and one has them over the tracksuit bottoms but rolled down.

This clearly signifies a varied approach to tactics.
Sit down, shock is better taken with bent knees.
