Imagine what it was like last season when we essentially had 1 game a week. Now, we basically play 2 times every week, and yet still the games can't come around quickly enough.

We got knocked out by teams who were better on the day than us. No disgrace in that.

If Rodgers wants to essentially win the tie in this game, I think we'll see something like this:

       Can    Skrtel   Sakho 
Ibe Henderson Allen Moreno
         Sterling     Lallana
               Sturridge

I'm thinking we will see more changes myself. Possibly resting Can with a view to starting him in midfield against Soton. Either way I can see Lovren starting. I also think there's a good chance we will see Manquillo at RWB. Balotelli may well start too just off Sterling as Sturridge needs to be looked after so I'm not sure he will start.

Disgrace?

We got knocked out by teams who were better on the day than us. No disgrace in that.

It is disgraceful when you think barring Madrid, our squad has more quality than either of the other two sides and therefore should've qualified. Oh well, what can we do?...Just got to make sure next time we qualify we give a much, much, much better account of ourselves.

I'm with you, knockout stages of any European competition have to be taking serious. We're not above the Europa league, far from it.

We are playing well and it will be good experience for the team. We should win comfortably.

They're a good side right now, top of the league, they'll be full of confidence. They won 11 of their last 12 league games, the only blip was a 0-2 to Gala. Won't be easy at all but at home we're the favourites and should hopefully score a few and take a lead there if we're up for it.
