We've played well, produced some great attacking moves and deserve to be ahead. Just need to find a few more keys to unlock packed defences. We'll score in the 2nd half.

Would like to hear a bit more noise and singing from our fans. Wish I could be there...

Feels a lot like the Villa game, not sure where a goal is coming from. Fortunate not to concede a penalty. Lallana seems to have his head up his arse.

Wish the rest of the ground would join in with the back of the Kop on the occasions where they try and get a bit of an atmosphere going. :(

We seem to do better with a diamond.  Balotelli's too deep to do anything threatening.

Wouldn't mind seeing Coutinho go off for either Lambert or Borini and a switch to the diamond.

Think we've played well, just not creating enough chances.

Midfield looks wonderful sometimes, Gerrard really embracing his role and Henderson leading ahead of him. Ahead of Henderson though...Balotelli doesn't really move.

Lallana doesn't even look related to a footballer at the moment. I hope it's him just getting back to fitness.

Passing and interplay in the attacking half just not there. Trying to do it all with the first pass rather than building up and creating chances

We've played well, produced some great attacking moves and deserve to be ahead.

You're easily pleased.

We are not playing well. Not much possession in their final third at all.

How in the world did we not get a goal there?  :butt
Can't believe that we didn't manage to get it in there.

We look in complete control, but still, need to press forward and convert some of this.

No tempo whatsoever. Dunno where our fast starts at home have gone. Players don't seem to trust each other to play 1 & 2 touch where it matters.

Hate being critical but has Coutinho made one forward pass that reached a red shirt?
Has Steven Gerrard scored a goal even more important than the one he got against Olympiakos - Is this the start of something BIG?

Get Coutinho off now. He's lost possession every time he's tried a forward ball. Get Lambert on for him and two upfront.

Balotelli is coming back way too deep for my liking.
He wants to get involved in the play and we need to for the love of god play 2 up top in diamond.
Liverpool manager Rafael Benítez admitted after the match that the manner of his side's victory had stunned him and he stated: "My problem is that I don't have words to express the things that I feel at this moment"
