Must have been mentioned a thousand times but what the hell is the supposed deal for him? They can recall him next season but we can also make a bid for a fixed amount as well?

its not a fixed amount for the next season if they recall him...a fixed amount is for the season after that, 6mil

if they recall him next season and we want him,we need to negotiate with them

Cheers for the welcome!

Honestly, Roy hanging around our players, reminds me of the dodgy pervs in anoraks who used to lurk on Soton Common when I was a kid asking us to stop our rounders game & join them in something painful.     An intervention is needed & soon - he must be stopped!

Somehow got the feeling that we will play Southampton in the COC next round.

Interesting insight into RonKo's relationship with Aloysius Paulus Maria "Louis" van Gaal. Love RonKo's wife too (see last para!).

They've done well with the Joe Allen money. We should've got Koeman instead of this Brent wannabe.

great result today for you... you are 2nd on the table, i know means nothing for now but still...

ITA. Sooo not getting carried away, We'll see where we are in December.  Until then we have to avoid the usual jinxes/hazards: Winning Manager of the Month; Savage/ Neville/Sports hacks apologising for 'meltdown' predictions; Glowing press reports - 'Super Saints', Miracle at St Marys etc; avoiding Errol Hodge's England call-ups; being left to Errol's tender mercies if called-up & our players being tapped up by their England 'glamour clubs' team  mates; January transfer rumours.....

Great atmosphere again at St Mary's today with another exemplary performance from our own Capt. Fantastic - Jose. That thuggish necrophiliac Bunter Rooney should watch & learn.....

Let's not become Spurs. Apart from Schneiderlin, Clyne, Tadic, and Forster there isn't anyone else worth stealing anyways, so lets just take those 4 and be done with it  ;D

Erm ... they have had only had 1 'tough' game (us away) and they lost.

Let's just wait and see how they do when they've got City, Arsenal (twice), United, Everton and Chelsea in the space of 8 games.

They played at the Emirates the other night and won. But you're right about when they play the other big clubs  ;)

My 2nd team and always have been on account of my Dad and his side of the family being from Southampton and my Dad and his old man playing youth football for the Saints. Made a great start to the season, Pelle looks quality, Forster is a very solid goalie and even with us taking a few they are still left with some quality. My only worry is the middle of their defence longer term.

Had a run-in at the services with some of the mouthy bastards after our match at Anfield.

Horrible little club.  Won't be long until their luck runs out and they are at the other end of the table.

Delighted for them as they are a well run club and play football the right way, shocked how good Pelle has done expected him to flop but he's been outstanding for them.

When they signed Tadic I expected him to be one of the signings of the season, always been a big fan of his since his Groningen days.

If the Saints had signed a better striker than Long I think they could of pinched a Europa League spot, right now I think they will come down the table and finish 8th along with winning a cup.
