Hopefully we'll comfortably shut them out at home. Hoping for a few goals as this is my first time at Anfield

I think we'll have a very different team on the field and Bren will have given the team a lot of things to iron out from the first leg. I have a feeling this will be the first good display of Rodger's system at work. Would love us to sort the Allen transfer in that time as well and hopefully see the first glipse of our starting CM line-up (Gerrard, Lucas, Allen) for a few minutes.

Suarez and Coates are supposed to be back in training tomorrow, so it doesn't seem like we're giving breaks to players who were in the Olympics. And rightly so, since they would have had a break after the season was over.

He's had till tomorrow off since getting knocked out. They had a break before the Olympics started so he'll be fine.

Me too, hope you enjoy it mate. I get to 1 maybe 3 a season if Im lucky. Its been the same for the past 20 years. Never fails to take my breath away when you exit the stair to the seats and you see the pitch. Taking my daughter for her 3rd time (1 of which was the big screen for the FA Cup Final), so cant wait myself.

We were lucky we did not lose from the previous encounter due to their bad finishing,don't feel the same for the return leg though

got a bad feeling we will lose and than go into extra time

Need to be patient with this one. Hopefully it's a better performance but don't expect us to look brilliant just yet. The full team is not going to be fully ready yet.

Even if we signed him in time I don't think he will be eligible fo this qualifying tie

Hopefully we play a strong team. I wouldn't mind something that puts some youngsters in with players who still need to get fitness.

Looking forward to seeing how things are laid out by Rodgers and how the team reacts. They owe us big time imho.

Won't be the same looking at the dugout and not seeing Kenny, but that ship has sailed.

Think the 1st team need the fitness more than the youth at this point in time seeing as the league's just here around the corner, so I'd want us to play a full strength team with Raheem getting some minutes.

Once we're past the qualifiers, we can throw the young 'uns in the deep end.

16/1 on oddschecker to win the tournament - a bit stingy as Thursday could well be a banana skin for us given the performance last week.

Here's hoping for us to get an early goal or 2 to take any momentum Gomel may try to build early on - due their fitness and sharpness currently being higher than ours.

(we are at 40/1 in some places to win the Prem)

Well, if we don't vastly improve on our performance from the last leg, and Gomel score a couple of their many good chances we're in a bit of strife.

It's one thing to have confidence in your team, but your attitude is bordering on complacency, and if the players hold the same attitude we're going to be in trouble.

I will miss that game... Flying to Tanzania on the 7th, arriving on the 8th. I doubt they'd have TV, and even if they did, they may not show this game. would be lucky if I catch the result on the Internet
