I will still be going to the TO for as long as possible. Would rather have it my hand any day. And currently they still need to do the window sales. They were going to have an online sales only trial last ssn for one, concessions and coach tkts online with no booking fee, to try to please everyone so we'll see if they do that this year at some point. But until then I'll queue.

That's my fear but there is a hardcore group who queue on the first morning every time, for differing reasons.  Doesn't usually take long, only for semis etc! People have queued longer online for league games. Plus I think it would be a very sad day when a club of Liverpool's size doesn't have a Tkt Office. I know some hate staff there but most on the window sales are v helpful and like friends now.

I think the number of credits people have has definately dropped in the last couple of years - with such a small allocation for the first game of the season at 3:00 on a Saturday I was convinced it would start on 18 then 15 or 17 then 15 and sell out

Shit loads of seasies with 15+ away credits were revoked last season after the Man U away Honda fiasco, so credits needed should drop for every game
Taylor Report 278 ""It is fair to say that over many years the South Yorkshire Police have given excellent service to the public...Unforunately, their policing on April 15 broke down in the ways described, and although there were other causes, the main reason for the disaster was the failure of police control."

I don't think that's quite right. I'm sure it was the utd home FA cup game - and they got them back.

Honda Japan ended up with about 50 tickets in our end at Old Trafford, which they bought through an agency.Club traced some of the tickets and stopped the ST's they were purchased on. Only a handful though. Less than ten I think.

How do you start building up credits for aways? Are there some games that start off at or eventually drop to low credits so you can start to build up credits slowly?

Not really looked into aways unless I've been near to where we're playing with finances etc but if money allows I might be able to get to some this season if there are some with low or no credit requirements (unlikely by the looks of it).

your best bet is wigan mate, usually the 3 people start on is wigan, bolton and blackburn but with 1/3 in the prem could be difficult. ive found that its all based upon allocation/how big the game is and sometimes how much they charge or when the game is. id keep an eye out on qpr this season, games around christmas time get 3,000+ tickets charging 55 quid a ticket it may go to 0 like last season, id also say look out for arsenal/tottenham also being midweek but even expecting this to go low i cant see it going to as low as 0.

Also depends on our form because the worse we do the easier it is to get tickets (end of last season it was much easier getting tickets than beginning of the season)

Yeah this is a major factor, if where not doing that well it's so much easier to get the tickets.

Indeed - Roy Hodgson was a Godsend in this regard! I managed to go from 3 to 11 away credits that season, increasing that to 17 last season. Not bad for a mere member :)

Nice and easy - and its great that you can now buy student tickets online.  A booking fee of 90p per ticket is still probably a rip off when you do all the work yourself - but its a massive improvement on £2.50 a ticket.
