Thought i'd bring this one back up rather than making a new one.

Been giving it a good thought whether to make a flag or not, there are some great designs on here.

Could do with your suggestions and ideas, i've been looking through some 'inspirational quotes' and i think they can go down really well. A few of my favourites:

Quote: Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Author: John 16:33
Source: Holy Bible

Quote: We live by admiration, hope and love.
Author: William Wordsworth
Source: Alexandra Stoddard's Book of Days by Alexandra Stoddard

Quote: Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.
Author: Helen Keller
Source: The Book of Positive Quotations by John Cook

I also loved the flag : http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/kopboss/kopbanner.gif

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

My new ones pretty simple. Ive dont the famous one with the one in my avatar which was in the LFC, echo, skysports news etc. (Brian Reade even mentioned it on the day of the final...)

I opted just for a simple message for all those away journeys.

KAELOSSS
96 Liverpool fans lost their lives at Hillsborough. Thousands more were deeply affected. The Sun said Liverpool fans robbed their own dead and urinated on policemen and other fans doing their best to save them. The Sun said Liverpool fans were to blame for causing the crush by turning up ticketless and drunk. The Sun told lies. DON'T BUY THE SUN!

Yeah i like that.

How about cutting down this quote from the great man:       "Above all, I would like to be remembered as a man who was selfless, who strove and worried so that others could share the glory, and who built up a family of people who could hold their heads up high and say, 'We're Liverpool'."

To just the end line:

We're Liverpool

It makes a really solid point doesn't it, anybody else agree with the idea?

i dont like all these spitirual ones. my ideal banner would assert our dominance... something simple like:

LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB
      *      *      *      *       *
 FOREVER IN OUR SHADOW

I still want to take my King banner next season but I guess I'm hesitant as it may be seen as going against the new gaffer which I'm certainly not.

So . . . .going to have to think of making a new one this summer, ideas are very welcome.

Although I would agree that the existing ones are perfectly fine, plus the odd other new one, I think that a glut of new ones would be a tad undermining to the existing manager.

As it is, every time the existing ones are unfurled, the press and TV will be all over them, as another stick to beat us with.

Thats what I'm bothered about. I hear It's in the Mirror again today, not sure in what context though but I would not be surprised if its all about the supporters not backing Buck.

The banner is almost done - I have more than enough felt to do the letters/stars again a little bit larger, but can't decide if I should.  It's first game will be Hearts away.

Anyway, thought I'd share it with you guys, I'm quite pleased with it.  If anybody has any thoughts over the size of the text/stars let me know.  Probably leaning towards keeping it the same right now, but who knows.
Luis Garcia... tries his luck........
