An interesting collection of former PL players have already signed to play for clubs in the Championship and lower leagues including Paddy Kenny (Leeds), Jonathan Woodgate (Middlesbrough), Wayne Bridge (Brighton on loan), Alan Smith (MK Dons), Chris Kirkland (Sheffield Wednesday), Tomasz Kuszczak (Brighton), Mido (Barnsley), Danny Murphy (Blackburn), Robbie Blake (Doncaster), Keith Andrews (Bolton), Peter Lovankrands (Birmingham)
Also Bruno Saltor (Brighton) and Nuno Gomes (Blackburn) have joined teams in the Championship
