Rory Smith was saying in his webchat today that Cole and Aquilani likely won't be here come August 31. So plenty of room for for Allen.

Too many midfielders something will have to give.

My question is; why look to spend 10-15 mill on bringing in another midfielder? Maybe he's looking for Suso to only play a small part next season hence the reason I said it will be difficult for Suso IF we bring in Allen.

I don't see Suso playing any significant part for the first team this season.
He's still a kid with no first team experience.
Talking about him as someone set to play an important role is way too premature IMO.
10 or 20 minutes here and there and a role in the Carling Cup would be plenty at this stage

Going off topic so this is my last on the subject:

Surely he's ready for some first team action - you can bet he thinks he's ready for it. If we hang about with him he'll more than likely get snapped up by one of the big Spanish clubs.

I will be shocked if those who were out on loan last year will still be here when the season kicks off. I dont know the lad not seen much of him but we def need to class up the CM pivot area as we never even got close to replacing Alonso. Honestly I doubt if Allen alone will suffice but time will tell.

Suso is still too inexperienced to play a major role in the first team this upcoming season. Would be detrimental to his development to throw him into the deep end, especially if we have better players that have a greater chance of helping us reach the top four. He'll have his chance and I have faith in the coaching staff that if he's the business then they'll give him ample opportunity, but I'd be surprised if he gets more than a couple of substitute appearances this season.

Maybe taking shots and missing isn't considered a misplaced pass and that's why we're so high? Or maybe "goalpost" was a valid receiver of our passes?

With the europa league, there should be plenty of chances for the likes of  Suso and Sterling or even the likes of Ibe at a stretch to be eased into first team action

Its looks that thats where the story originated from.

Was told over a month ago by a mate (player, not at Arsenal) that the Walcott deal hadn't been completely dismissed. I was told Theo was ours if BR wants him. Assumed the deal was dead seeing as so much time has passed since.

May have done, certainly rings a bell.

As far as Jenkins goes, I've got time for anyone with some inside knowledge who doesn't bring up the excuses whenever it's not bang on (seen as no-one is right all the time). Jenkins at least admits if he's wide of the mark.

Hopefully it s true as he'll make a very good signing.

But how good is he? what if he is another henderson? and what if LFC is too much of a big club for him? what will he offer to the team?

That statisticis useless. The thing that would have been more useful would be the percentage of completed passes in the final third. (meaning what percent of passes in the final third were successful- successful passes in the final third divided by the total number of passes in the final third).

This statistic (from what I understand from it) is the percentage of successful passes in the final third divided by the total number of successful passes.
