Looking at the leaderboard, looks like the cream will rise to the top, course seems great to me. Don't think many players don't like it
Its a nice touch hovering a mouse over the former open winners, shows them with the Claret Jug. All other players are just general pics

Tiger sinks one from the bunker for birdie and finish -6.

The amazing game that golf is.
A legend misses a 2 foot put to make the cut and a fallen star chips from a deep bunker, on the 18th in spectacular fashion, to close the gap.

Fuck wanting wind, its nice to see a clear and pleasant scene and some great golf.

Loving it.

Been brilliant so far. Think the course is the ideal test for the pros while not being too difficult to score well at like the US Open at Olympic.

Well at least McIlroy did beat 61 year old Tom Watson by one shot after two rounds.

Maybe Rory should join the senior tour if he wants a chance to win majors. :P

Me and my Grandad have an inside joke about Brandt Snedeker. Comes across as a nice guy and he just wouldn't drop anything yesterday. Played superbly. I want him or G-Mac to win. In an ideal world, Donald or Westwood would take it, but they're a ways off. Wouldn't mind seeing Tiger take it, despite everything, the guy has charisma.

I'm pretty sure that Rory blew away the field in winning last year's US Open - which is very much a major.

Of course you're right.

Rory has the same amount of Major Championships as David Duval. Who was also going to be the next big thing at one stage. David does have 19 Professional wins though. So something for Rory to aspire to with his 6 Professional wins.

Plenty of footage of Tiger in water-logged bunkers or heavy rough this afternoon PLEASE!!!

Cutting to close up HD footage of his face looking like he's about to burst into tears or twat a nearby spectator with his wedge...!!!

May he miss the fairways.....miss the greens....leave the putts short....send them long......or wide.....

It's not that I dislike the man THAT much....it's just that I find his stifled inner tantrums' far more entertaining to watch.

His responses to his own failings always look as though he's desperately searching for somebody else to blame.....and then he realises that it's 'golf' and that he was the only one holding the club.....[and then that realisation makes him even more angry...]

Tiger's only worth watching when he's playing very well.....or very badly IMHO..

Agreed, it cracked me up when Faldo was calling the presenter a "BBC Muppet" when he was mauling about with the player's clubs in the store room.

Of course you're right.

Rory has the same amount of Major Championships as David Duval. Who was also going to be the next big thing at one stage. David does have 19 Professional wins though. So something for Rory to aspire to with his 6 Professional wins.

Got plenty of time on his side has Rory.  Anyway, if he or Clarke fail, send for Gmac.  Usually one of them hanging about challenging in the latter stages of majors.  Quite an achievement for N.Ireland.  And of course have just landed the winner of the junior open, so another one to watch in coming years.

Just home after 18 holes at Portrush.....  wind is really blowing today. At least 3-4 'club strength'.  Going to be very tasty at Lytham.  Really favours McDowell I reckon.

Its really windy in here Liverpool, I've loved the peaceful approaches so far but this is going to make the final day very interesting. Its just a pity a couple of other players aren't closer.
