Because he is not getting a game at Chelsea and they have just signed Hazard who is someone else ahead of him. They've also bid for Schurrle so are still after forward players.

It's obvious LFC are after a forward, so most stories linking us to forwards are probably just agents pushing their wares (Sturridge, Kalou etc).

Good player, proved it at City, Bolton , and generally done OK at Chelsea.
If he's between 10 and 15m we should try to sign him.
Most importantly he's got an eye for goal.

On point though, can't see Sturridge coming to us regardless. Think it's a battle between him and Torres for that out and out striker role at Chelsea, given the patchy form Torres has had, think he might fancy his chances.

Got this feeling too as long as we have a plan in the way we set out to attack and open up enough space for him to get clear chances.
