Bloody hell, what an epic match is brewing on Sunday if Murray sees this out.

The Murray haters will be out in full though.

Obviously this is a masterclass from Tsonga then. Everyone else in the thread must be oblivious to it.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with Murray playing brilliantly then? Which he is. Give him some fucking credit you miserable sod!

Can you imagine what the BBC footage will be like during the build up to the final should Andy make it.

I remember a few years ago when they pulled out that Rudyard Kipling poem - If, as part of the build up to the final, i was almost violently ill at the pretentiousness of it all.

Indeed.

Murray has been very consistent with few unforced errors from Round 1. So focused and serving like a beast, thought it was Sampras out there!!!

And just as we praise him, he falls apart on his serve :P

Tsonga breaks! The comeback's on!
"My coach told me to warm up just before the break. He told me I was going to take care of Kaka. I didn't think it was possible to turn things around but in the dressing room at halftime Rafa Benitez was calm - "We are Liverpool FC, we have so many fans, we are not going to be slaughtered. If we can score a goal quickly we push on from there.""

Tsonga's playing as shit as all the teams we beat in Europe under Rafa...nothing to do with Murray playing well at all.

Tsonga breaks Murray though in the 3rd.

I've given Murray plenty of credit in previous matches, unlike those who do nothing but complain about others being supposedly negative in this thread.

I'm sure even you've worked out by now that I'm not a Murray fan, so why should I spend every post giving him credit? Surely sometimes it can be implicit. Every other fucker on this thread has called Tsonga's play confusing, or inconsistent, or poor, or dire, so why are you having a go at me in particular?

I'm simply looking things from a Tsonga point of view, and he's hit plenty of errors so far (as did Djokovic earlier). Christ.

I hate the media wankfest over him.

I don't like or hate Andy. He's just boringly dull.Maybe he's different off camera but on,his interviews are painful. He must be a journalists nightmare and a cure for insomniacs out there.

Decent player though.I think it will be a good final Sunday.
That right peg hits it and you see the future arc of the ball and time goes al gluey like a Dali painting, and for a second there's a 20yr old StevenGerrard and your young self cheering him on through the prism. His big smile fades in an the net is shivering and J.Hart's trying not to look grateful for the privilege of being that close to greatness

Tjey have that painted by the doors as you go out to cenre court I think so you can see the logic behind it.

Fair enough, it's powerful literature, but not one i'd like to associate with multi millionaire sportsmen + women. But i suppose they're trying to set a tone about standards of individuals that enter the tournament.

Still, the production and having a Spaniard that could barely pronounce some of the words let alone probably understand them was gut wrenching stuff!

As the experts have pointed out, Tsonga's error-ridden game has a lot to do with the pressure Murray has put on him.

And I haven't denied that. I'd also be a fool to pretend that Murray wasn't playing well, which is why I haven't criticised him once so far. I'm simply looking at it from Tsonga's point of view though, and he's played some awful shots at times. It's not as simple as Murray simply playing well and that's the end of it, he's not exactly Djokovic/Nadal/Federer.

...although it's funny how none of his injuries seem to bother him when he's winning. Very brave.

You realise that there are plenty of others in here who dislike Murray, or who think Tsonga isn't play well? I don't have to justify my opinions in every single post. I don't think you can find a single thing I've said today that's hinted at Murray not playing well, only that Tsogna hasn't brought his game so far (admittedly he's getting better, particularly in this set). Really, really bizarre posts, particularly the timing of it, by a couple of you. Does every single post have to be pros and cons of both players full of statistical analysis in essay form? As I've said, I'm simply looking at things from Tsonga's point of view. I look forward to you being consistent and entering every thread with 'give the opposition some fucking credit!' over the next 9 months of football though. I'm sure that'll happen.
