First visit to Wimbledon today; nice seats on centre court. I like Nadal; but was supporting Rosol by the first set tie break (and chanting Lukas! Lukas! in the fifth).
Unbelievable power and accuracy, backhand was brutal. Nadal was shaken up early by the power (on the defensive, mishits, scampering just to get the ball in play).
People thought it a shame when he lost the tie break, and that Nadal would pull away. He was great in the second, we thought he'd won a set and would have great memories and fade away, but just kept going; the 5th set was stunning.
Nadal was wound up and shouldered past Rosol at one changeover in the 3rd.
Oh - karlovic's complaints about foot faults against Murray was bollocks (and he didn't move back after the first few). After called for a couple I started watching (sat level with baseline) and he was constantly only a millimetre or two off, got photos of two of the faults.
