This baffles me. Why Abraham Lincoln? Why not John Major: Vampire Hunter? It just seems completely random and pointless and a shit excuse to have lots of shit violence and shit vampires that aren't even proper vampires.

I would assume the author of the book is American. Lincoln is considered one of the two greatest presidents of the United States. Vampires are huge right now, because...people are saddos. Apparently the combo, which I agree is ridiculous, sold enough books that a film was considered safe enough to make money.

terrible movie. Based off the trailer you just expect it to be a stupid fun action movie but besides the ridiculousness of the plot the director tries to make the movie seem serious and this really destroys it
