I don't think there is enough yet.
When we did this last time we had a squad of 30 players from RAWK and for some games we were struggling to get a team for games. Many of the ones who have volunteered so far are also from outside the North West and will struggle for regular availability.
I will trawl through the thread tonight on my PC and list the names, positions, geographical locations and general availability of everybody who has posted so far.
I've also got contacts for fans teams of Southport, Runcorn, Tranmere and a couple of others.
There's been a few people trying to organise a weekly game of 5-a-side in Liverpool for over a year now and it's never got off the ground and getting a full squad will be even more difficult. People often post that they will play with the best of intentions but it doesn't then come off.
As I've said I will look over the thread tonight and see where we stand.
Looking at Graemes remarks and wonder if we should perhaps go the 6 a side route with two pitches booked
If we get a good turnout then we could play two games on two pitches separating the Antique players such as myself and a younger team.
Even if we didn't have a veterans team, the prospect of kicking a ball more than 10 yards is daunting for me and I would imagine running more than 10 yards after it might be for some of the outfield players who have volunteered themselves for this
(scatter the .,...,,, appropriately into that last sentence)
