Hibs v Liverpool friendly ???

 A Hibs season ticket holder mate of mine has been hearing rumours that we are going up there for a pre season friendly. Anyone heard anything similar ?

With an early start in the Europa, I wouldn't have thought so, unless we send up what they call a Liverpool xi made up of the reserves.

We have got the American tour on 21/25/28th of July cant see a full side going up there for a friendly what with the europa cup as well maybe a reserve side like you say,i went there in the old fairs cup in 75 didnt stop raining i went to Edinburgh 2 summers ago just for the day out not bad for me its only 2 hours should have taken my thermal vest  :wave

I was in Edinburgh one Saturday about 20 years ago, so went to see Hibs play Falkirk. Heard swear words that day I never knew existed!!

Could be before the American Tour though? We already have a Liverpool XI against Crusaders, but it might be that. When do players get back from vacation, i cant see us only playing 3 Friendlies even with the 2 Europa Games in early august.
