But I dont like him. I like McIlroy and of course Padraig, but I genuinely find McDowell a little bit of a dick.

not my mate, but i know a fair few people who have met him. never a bad word was said.

Ummm, it seems like Jim can also "mash potato", I'm going to Lytham in a few weeks and I can't imagine shouts like this will go down too well.

I know quite a few lads (some big) from local clubs who are stewarding the course for the Open. They've been "trained" not to get involved with the security side and call for assistance if they spot a problem. We will see, bet its quiet.

I think you're wrong there. Very repeatable swing, all very good from the top. It's only the backswing that's ugly but that doesn't matter if you're in the right spot at the top.
