We've seen the attack and midfield overhauled in the last couple of windows and everyone knows that we are desperate for some over at the back.

Out:

Reina, Robinson, Carroll (if we can get money), Downing

In:

New GK (maybe 2), LB, CB (maybe 2), maybe another DM type

Carroll being sold may be key in terms of us having money to spend.  As much as Downing has improved dramatically, I can't see him staying and featuring long term.  Reina looks to be half out of the door already and Robinson you get the feeling isn't seen as ready by Rodgers.  There'll be some others out on loan, but not sure which.

Would be unbelievable, but it will also never, ever happen.

As for my predictions, I'll say that after finishing 7th there will be rumours that the owners are ready to dump Brendan if we don't improve next season, and he will play it a bit safer in the transfer market with fewer young players for the future.  I would be surprised if we don't spend 20 million + on an attacking player, and you'd also expect to see a CB, an LB, and a DM as well.  I really, really hope we're not looking for a 'keeper in the summer; I have a real feeling that Reina's talent would be much more appreciated if we had to suffer through a season or two of someone else in goal.

We'll finish 4th.

In:
GK (Vorm or Begovic? Pet preference would be Fernando Muslera: good, not expensive, young but extremely experienced, and friends with Suarez)
CB if Carra retires or Coates goes out on loan (don't think he'll go permanently).
LB as backup for Jose Enrique.
DM to partner with Lucas or give him a break.

Out:
Reina, but only for Barcelona.
Carra (retired)
Coates (loan)
Wilson (contract runs out, isn't it?)
Pacheco
Carroll
Spearing
Morgan (loan)

Downing will stay, I think.
