Prediction:

1. Some midtable side away
38. Some shite side we really should be beating away

Want:

1. Everton home
38. Chelsea home

On a slightly related note, the autocorrect on my phone does not recognize Everton. This amuses me more than it maybe should.

Surprised, that many of you reckon that we'll play Swansea first.

Well after starting with a home game last season and it doing not one bit of good I kind of don't care.  A part of me thinks we'll get either Swansea or Wigan first game just cause of the Rodgers/Martinez situation over the LFC job.

Man U will get one of the promoted teams at home.

This! Reckon the FA completely unbiased fixture computer is going to give our new manager a baptism of fire. Really wouldn't be surprised if we played last season's top 6 in our first 10 games. Until season before last we had ( I think ) 7 away games in a row for our first game. Don't like getting newly promoted teams away for the first game. Their always right up for it.

Ideally - First Villa Home
           - Last QPR Home

don't care as long as we have an away trip to southampton/reading the weekend of 31st Aug/1st/2nd Sept so I can still go to local music festival then I'll be happy (oh and a sunday game the last weekend of september will do me too).

There is no way that Reading will be at home the same weekend as the Reading festival.

I think, after home games on the last 2 seasons opening days we are due an away game.

Didn't Man U recently get something like 6 home starts in a row ? (and in those season they had quite a few home finishes as well). There is also a myth that goes round at this time very year where the champions always start at home or something.

It's also at this time every year when I keep referring people back to the Rafa's 'rant' and the perfectly valid points he made about the fixture list which the PL have never bothered to take on board.
