Brendan Rodgers "Agger is almost certain to play vs Norwich and Borini is 50/50."
"I was pleased also with Peter Crouch. We have been talking to him, before and after his nose operation, to show more confidence with his heading.

"Now it seems to have worked. Lets say that if he has a few games without scoring again, maybe we should arrange to break his nose again."

Rafa.

Glad to see Agger's fit for the new season.
"My coach told me to warm up just before the break. He told me I was going to take care of Kaka. I didn't think it was possible to turn things around but in the dressing room at halftime Rafa Benitez was calm - "We are Liverpool FC, we have so many fans, we are not going to be slaughtered. If we can score a goal quickly we push on from there.""

Really unlucky for Kelly, hopefully he won't be too down about it and will come back stronger next year. With Lucas being in a similar position last year, I'm sure he'll help him through.

Great news but surprising, his clash with Johnson looked painful.

I see Brendan is quoted as saying that Lucas is back running and he is hoping that he is back sooner rather than later sorry if this has already been posted.

I think once Coates played last night that Agger was always likely to be fit.

Brendan Rodgers "Agger is almost certain to play vs Norwich and Borini is 50/50."

Agger has obviously been listening to Rodger's:

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants his players to "man up" in the face of injuries as they look to battle through until January with a limited squad.
The Reds have only two senior strikers after failing to replace Andy Carroll, who joined West Ham on loan.
"We are going to be stretched to the limit between now and January," Rodgers told the Anfield Wrap podcast.
Play media

"I've spoken to the players and told them if you get little niggles or little injuries you've got to man up."
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one. Do you understand?

Good news about Agger but I'd still like to see Coates on the bench not Carra.

Great news re Agger and a bit of pressure on Skrtel as Coates did really well last night and probably deserves more game time.
I never single out players for criticism - but there's no need tonight, because we were uniformly awful.

Where is Joe Cole?

I think the news is fairly fixed now.

Kelly's is very long term.  The other two are possibilities for Carrow Rd and as such any updates can go in the Norwich preview.  Thanks all.
