strange move by Kenny, the mirror was one of the rags that were leading the witch hunt over Suarez, that c*nt Ollie Holt could be heard blowing his load the night that Oldham player thought he was racially abused.

To be fair he did try to explain it on TAW.

Kenny has even admitted he'd handle it differently so why are people bothered about the people that pointed it out to him at the time.

People should differentiate from the constructive criticism and the snide comments.

I dont like The Mirror at all. They pissed me off no end this season.

But then there's barely a newspaper Kenny could have chosen to write for that I wouldnt be annoyed at. They're all rags.

However given the fact he also has his job with the charity you might summise it is not for personal gain, how far do you want to take it, Rafa had a lot of shit of the BBC but still was fairly regular in football focus, it's nit picking at best and a thread for people blow hot air !

Obviously it boils down to Kenny, it was his decision. It is just strange to some why he would want to work for a paper that crucified him on nearly a daily basis during the suarez affair. Not arsed myself he can do as he pleases, but, just seems like a strange move.

The Mirror is the best of the tabloids IMO. Some of the treatment we got last season from the likes of Oliver Holt and David Maddock was disgraceful, especially over Suarez, but so was the decision of FSG to sack Dalglish. It's his choice, and we should respect his decision.

The Mirror were the worst though. I rememeber that idiot Holt releasing a massively sensationalist article within half an hour of our game vs Oldham ending. I also remember the massive 'RACIST' headline splattered all over their backpage.

The first thing Kenny needs to do, is chin Maddocks.

For a man who's supposed to be the chief reporter on Liverpool, I don't think I read one single positive artice from him throughout the whole of last season. He did nothing but rip into us and hit us with a big stick.

I certainly don't want the man reporter on Liverpool to wear rose tinted glasses, and be up the club and players arses, but FFS fella. One single artice with a bit of possitivity or a good word wouldn't of gone a miss, you poisonous, two-faced bellend.

Even the match report from the win against Chelsea on the second to last game of the season, started out as a bile filled diatribe of epic proportions.

Kenny Dalglish does not need permission from anyone to take a journo job and anyone who tries to make anything out of this is just showing themselves up.

He wanted a job, was offered this and took it, that's the end of it.

I hope he enjoys it and it helps him get over the fact that he was treated like shit by some at the club who knew no better, and unfortunately that includes some 'supporters'
