With the league season coming to an end in all the major leagues, Its time to find out which all players deserve to be in the world team of the season. A poll will made for each position and ultimately the team of the season would be found out based on the maximum number of votes a player receives in that particular position. The final world team of the season will have the starting eleven plus seven player as subs which would have one goal-keeper, two defenders, three midfielders and one striker. We will go with the standard 4-4-2 formation. As of now, the team is:-

STARTING XI:-

-----------------------------------------ST------------------------------ST------------------------------------------
LW/LWF-------------------------Andrea Pirlo----------------Yaya Touré-------------------Arjen Robben
Ashley Cole----------------Vincent Kompany-------------Thiago Silva-------------------Philipp Lahm
-------------------------------------------------------Joe Hart-----------------------------------------------------

SUBS:-

1. Petr Čech.
2. Daniel Alves.
3. Martin Škrtel.
4. Xabi Alonso.
5.
6.
7.

Was going to vote for Dempsey then noticed Ronaldo at the bottom.

Ribery and Hazard were both comfortably better than Dempsey. But with Ronaldo there, no contest.

Didn't see enough of Ribery and Hazard myself so can't judge how good they have/haven't been.

Fair enough. Still would take Alves over Lahm.

I'm not saying I don't recognise he's good, but I can't just stand the arrogant wanker (if it's still unclear, I'm talking about C. Ronaldo) so I voted for Muniain for his lovely games against the Mancs.

Apart from Ronaldo obviously, Hazard and Nene also had great seasons. One of those two would habe got my vote otherwise

Yeah, you can probably go ahead & lock this one now. Also, no need to vote to put Messi in either, just saving us all a bit of time...
