What a fucking joke.  The only manager in the world eh?  Might want to buy some kneepads brah.

RB is great but lets not get out of hand here and make it out like he's the one and only great one
Spurs are fucked now unless they get it spot on.

Benitez is top draw and he will be fresh. I cannot see Spurs anywhere near the top 4 next season. Chelsea will get back involved and they will sell Modric.

Tommy mate, who do the spurs fans want? Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas, Moyes, Rafa or someone else? Who would you be happy with?

They are trying to find 300 million on the private equity markets for a new stadium.

I find it bizarre that people on here think Redknapp didnt do that great a job at Spurs because he didn't win a trophy,by that logic Alex McLeish did a great job at Birmingham in 2011.

I think they'll miss Redknapp. Its all black and white stating his obvious flaws, but he managed to keep his key players satisfied and playing well and did a great job overall. My pick of the top 7 teams to struggle the most next season.

McLeish beat Arsenal in the Carling Cup final, and got Birmingham relegated. The only thing that stopped that being a great season was his team's cave-in, give-away, suck-up, to McLeish's Big Daddy just before the final. Even McLeish thought it was a cracker, so much so, he tried to repeat it with Villa. Considering Harry's coastal infatuation period, you've picked a very good analogy, even down to giving it up for Daddy/Uncle Alex.

Really praying they get Moyes.  Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas or Rafa would probably be their best choices, so I'm hoping it's neither of them.

That said, if they lose Modric and Adebayor, they're probably not finishing top 4 next season anyway.

It seems to be the non-English and the educationally sub-normal that love 'Arry.

Win nothing no mark spiv. And yes, even that clown, McLeish will go down in the history books as a more successful manager.

Clearly not since they were also relegated. I do find it bizarre that taking a team that was fifth twice in three years before he took over to fourth is really a 'great job' though. Especially considering how badly some of the regular top four have stuttered since then - us most obviously plus Chelsea this season.

They were at the bottom of the league with  2 points after 8 games when he took over after finishing 11th the season before and got them up to 8th with 4th 5th and 4th the next 3 seasons
Deserves a lot of credit IMO .

Yes they were 5th twice the 2 seasons before finishing 11th but the 9 seasons before then they finished from 9th at best to 14th

A club like spurs finishing 11th and bottom the next season with 2 points from 24 should IMO given Harry another say 2 seasons but the way he touted himself for the England Job I have no sympathy
But Spurs might have made the wrong choice but for the right reason ?

Deserves a little credit maybe but I'd say that being top 6 was probably a lot closer to Spurs' natural position at the time than bottom.

I'm not saying he did a terrible job but you'd think Spurs were losing Bob Paisley or Ernst Happel the way some people have reacted.

If he hadn't of been touting himself for the England job , spurs would ave easily finished 3rd

Haha, oh; thats why. Yey, pretentiousness PHPbb 1.2.

Good luck to 'Arry; looks like he spat his dummy out when he didn't get the England job, one of the only British managers who could probably get the England team playing decent enough football to challenge at the top levels.

But they didn't. He's got a half decent record for Spurs but nowhere near as good as some people seem to think.

Everton boss David Moyes has told @bbc5live that he has had "no contact" from Spurs over vacant manager's job. #bbcfootball

@BenSmithBBC: David Moyes to @bbc5live: "All I can is that I have no contact from #Spurs ... I know nothing about it ... I feel sad for Harry."

@BenSmithBBC: David Moyes adds: "I hope I can fulfill all my ambitions at #Everton. But you never know in this game."

Hopefully no truth in the Moyes talk then

His ambitions are probably just middling along at Everton. Anyone would be better than Moyes.
"My coach told me to warm up just before the break. He told me I was going to take care of Kaka. I didn't think it was possible to turn things around but in the dressing room at halftime Rafa Benitez was calm - "We are Liverpool FC, we have so many fans, we are not going to be slaughtered. If we can score a goal quickly we push on from there.""
