A bit like Marmite for some but for me  Dirk is a true legend on and off the pitch for this club, I will miss seeing him out on the pitch and giving us 100% all the time! YNWA Dirk thanks for the vital goals and the great performances.

Right time for him to move I feel - he's no longer a first team regular, not getting any younger and on big wages. His best days are behind him and we got five great years out of him.

Good luck Dirk. A great man and a very good player for Liverpool Football Club. Will always be an honorary Scouser.

Pleased that he managed to win a cup with us.

Fenerbahce?

He could do better than that.

My thoughts too and for 1 million? Ridiculous, apparently it was written in this contract he could go to Europe for that price within a year of the end of his contract - presumably it's a wages thing (high wages to match), as long as he's happy I guess but still buttons for such a player, once again we don't seem to be very good at selling, you'd think the club could've got more for him, he's 30 and fit as fuck, not 35 and a donkey.

A shame we never got to see him in the new kit, I can't think of a player more suited to a shirt with the word 'Warrior' embroidered on it.

Fuck me Dirk you're a great man. Came up with two of the biggest goals of the season against Cardiff and the Mancs in the FA cup. I'm gutted but not nearly as gutted as Pepe will be. All the best mate
Fuck it, I'm taking me dog for a walk. The pair of us are completely bollocksed and take turns a piece dragging one another along. We look a bit like one of Roy's midfield pairings, but with a wee bit more guile and panache. Well, on the dog's side, anyway

You obviously need something more substantial in your life like a huge Costco sized box of jam rags, seeing as you're such a massive fucking quim
