Tha team is stronger than United and can match City. Think its better than Citys too. Just Hart, Kompany, Toure and Silva make a real difference. But then again Cech ain't bad in comparison, nor is Ramires to Toure and Mata to Silva. Kompany is the big difference.

Torres is going to have a fucking blast next season. He is isn't he? Hazard, Mata, Hulk behind him... I mean that's what we tried to do for him, but couldn't. And they've got Marin, Sturridge and Lukaku as back up. That's some firepower - they'll challenge no doubt.

The crys for FFP are a joke really you should just be able to spend what you want if you have it like any business.... just not if you are putting the club in debt or danger.

really arent dodging ffp that hard. 70 mil for the champions league winners isnt as much as it sounds. First off i doubt the whole fee for either player will be paid this year; second off, winning the champions league is a huge boost in revenue, from prize money to tv rights to shirt sales. I'm confident if they can dump sturridge for 15 to 20 they’ll be over the -15 mil for ffp this year easily.

We have to outsmart them, no doubt, Rafa showed that it´s possible. Rodgers will have to be even smarter though as he lacks the connection for top players to bring in from a different league.

They're doing exactly what inter and Milan should have done when they won the champions league. Revitalise the squad rather than assume its good enough to carry them through.

Overpriced or not Hulk, is a bloody good player and someone that can open a defence and make the difference in a match. These fees mean nothing if the player performs and wins them things. The same crap what said about aguero last year with his fee and what not, he ended up winning them the title and becoming their top goal scorer.

city havent bought anyone, and chelsea are spending oeny they've earned and the money they hope to get for sturridge

You'd think that there must be something going on behind the scenes at Chelsea in terms of players leaving as they wouldn't be able to keep Mata, Hazard, Marin, Torres, Sturridge, Malouda, Hulk and Lukaku all happy, and thats if they don't sign someone else too. They hit the jackpot when the Manc teams went out in the group stage and Arsenal in the 16's.

They basically ran the table on all of the TV money from the QF on.

This was a great year for them financially.
