Came across well, spoke intelligently, calmly and with passion. Was respectful to Kenny, the club, the supporters and Swansea. But what impressed me most is how he's obviously his own man.
FSG were obviously so impressed with him that they've basically strung their nutsack to his vision and are hoping it comes off. Fair play to him for doing that, he obviously knows what he wants. I have to say, it reminded me of Rafa. This is definitely FSG dancing to Brendan's tune, not the other way round.
Key Points
1 - Wants to take LFC to the top
2 - Will continue his brand of football
3 - No agreement in place to not poach Swansea players
4 - No DoF structure, it will be Brendan's team in place primarily with other existing key LFC staff
5 - Steve Clarke may not be part of that future, although it sounded like there will be discussions
6 - Ian Ayre's a fudge
7 - Brendan Rodgers is the real deal
