After all the time Rafa's been waiting for the right job, I doubt he's going to pick Swansea

Rafa - a good project to sink his teeth into. Not sure how much money he'd have, but would be great to see him back at work (other than playing us, of course :))

Wirral - Swansea isn't such a long drive/train journey, and you know what, I wouldn't feel half as sick seeing Rafa take the Swans places as I would any of the top-half premiership sides, particularly Chelsea/Spurs/Villa (never gona happen for those first 2 anyway, thank god).

I'd rather he found a position abroad far more worthy of his talents, but he'd have my blessing if this was his choice.

When your Mum used to pick you up from school and you'd run out and be like 'Mummy I got 9/10 in the spelling test today', would she go 'phenomenal, son'.

Cos if she did she's a stupid fuck.

Ralf Rangnick?
"My coach told me to warm up just before the break. He told me I was going to take care of Kaka. I didn't think it was possible to turn things around but in the dressing room at halftime Rafa Benitez was calm - "We are Liverpool FC, we have so many fans, we are not going to be slaughtered. If we can score a goal quickly we push on from there.""

Hopefully. Then I can want them to go down without feeling sorry for Martinez.

The last 3 managers have all been up and coming young managers who like to play football, Martinez, Sousa and Rodgers. So it'll be someone in the same mold. I'd go for Poyet. He likes to give managers a chance this Chairmen, so one a bit left field could be Lee Clark. But the Premiership is probably to big a step for him at the min. Think Poyet could handle it.

Would love it if they appointed Martinez. Then Whelan appoints Bruce and Wigan get relegated.  :)
