Agree. Glad I built up last season really because this season will be very hard.

Even being on 4 this season I don't expect to get higher than 6.

Let's hope we get some more cup finals in then. But they don't matter anymore  ::)

There's some cracking away games coming up next season, no doubt the prices will remain extortionate and price us fans out!! Still cannot believe the price Chelsea, Spurs and QPR charge...

as good a job as Luke has done, past sales are only an indication. Form, midweek or just before cup final could make the difference between a game selling out on 2 or 8.

nice one lad haha :), looking at that id say i'm guarenteed at least 10. ive discounted qpr, norwich and swansea as i think they'll be 10+ next season. think west ham i should be ok for, reading will be a 10+ but can see southampton going low, from past weve got 3000+ from them can see this being similar credits to villa last season.

Paul - we get 3k for QPR and it went to general sale last season so surely you'll be able to get your hands on that this season?

It won't stop anywhere especially not the London prices as the fact is people in London earn more money so they can afford to pay more for games

I put the top priced ticket for each one, some of them have slightly lower ticket prices available but there isn't usually much difference.

Anything over £65 in London for me

Probably over £45-50 anywhere else too.

It'll get to a stage where everyone will fuck it off or people will sacrifice things for it, i.e holidays etc

Just a quick question.

I normally go to the majority of the home games in the league, I use a friend of a friends season ticket.

I have never been to an away game but I think this season I'm going to try and get to as many as I can.

Whats the best way to get away tickets?
Best way to sort out travel?
How easy / hard is it to get a away ticket?

If your friend has never been to an away game before on his season ticket then it's going to be pretty hard.

The exchange which is usually open a week before the game or when the game sells out is probably your best bet. Also You might be able to get away tickets to say a game like Wigan away that goes down to Season Ticket Holders. However these games are very rare because of the high demand for away tickets.

To sort out travel you can book with a coach company like Happy als/Barnes/ Spirit of shankly etc. or you can drive or get the train.

Don't know whether to buy a membership this year, fucked it off cause can't afford to buy for two people in one one go for 7 or 8 games, just ended up using it as a fan card but wouldn't mind trying to get a start on the away ladder but with Blackburn and Bolton gone, means Wigan is probably the only one that'll go to members or would it be members and fan cards? Can't really remember last year, couldn't make blackburn cause from memory it was mid-week? Is it worth 27 quid for the chance of one game and maybe if your lucky 2? Not really is it?
Think I'll be trying to get in the exchanges and any cup away games, made all the CC aways last year apart from Stoke but on exchange so shit out on the final but knew that when I was buying them, so no complaints, if people didn't credit hunt then I couldn't of gone, and really enjoyed all of them, not just about finals. Would of been nice to of gone though!

Depends how the season goes. If we have one similar to the last three then quite a few of the aways from March onwards could go to all FC's. If we're making a push for the top 4 or better then they won't.

What's the opener vs. West Brom going to be like to get tickets? I'm guessing the credits required will be quite steep being first game + new manager/players etc.

West brom and Sunderland away we got the least tickets for away games last season, just over 2000.probably start at about 16 like last season

Hmmm...could be a struggle then. May get lucky in the second sale period. Thanks

No chance. Be lucky to get 3 from 0 this season.
Alot said that about last season.

either way you look at it, if you ever want to get on the ladder you have to get the membership and take the chance on whatever tickets you can,

i've never had one but i'm going to get one this season, even just one from this season is going to help out next season and there after, also dont forget that you can always get on the cup ladder and a few decent aways there so i wouldnt look at it as an investment for maybe one game, you never know what type of run we could go on and the availability of tickets for the rounds
Sir, the cash monies?

What's the opener vs. West Brom going to be like to get tickets? I'm guessing the credits required will be quite steep being first game + new manager/players etc.
got 2200 last season started on 16 and sold out on 12, but being first game i wonder if they will actually give us around 2500-2600? , if so could possibly go to 7 or 8. hoping we do get quite a bit and goes to 7 would love to go to west brom first game of the season.

Returns on 6 and i'll be happy, last year though it went to 12 so i'm not too optimistic.
