BetVictor are the first,  that I've seen anyway, to have Champions League outright markets for next season.

Been keeping an eye anyway waiting for Juventus and they're shorter than I'd hoped. Only 12/1. Will have to wait for a bigger price before I get involved there.

http://www.betvictor.com/sports/en/football/champions-league/champions-league-winner-2012-13/57825110/326742000

Barca and Real Madrid are the 4/1 joint favourites.

Dortmund only 20/1 too.

Might have a speculative bet on Blackburn to go down. Doesn't sound like Venky's have the money and if they pull out could be in trouble.

20's the best I've seen for Juventus so far too. Wasn't up on oddschecker for some reason but I've looked through a few sites with the market  up and WilliamHill have the 20/1.

Really think Juventus will have a big season next year but I'm going to wait a few weeks to see what they do with their attack.

On Watford for the Championship next year at 50/1. Purely because I'm interested to see what Pozzo does with the club. If he treats it the same way he has Granada then I can see that price shortening.

Anyone think 4/11 for Jamaica to win 4x100m relay is big or about right? Also thinking WR, but no markets for that yet.

Presuming they keep Silva, and get shot of that mong of a goalkeeper, I'd be inclined to agree.

That 12/1 on Juventus is a pretty shite price as well, they've still yet to sign a top striker, which might not even come to fruition.

It is massive. They will piss it.......if they don't drop the baton. Wouldnt touch it for that reason alone

Juventus at 13/8 to win Serie A at Ladbrokes. Cannot see past them, most of their players had a good Euro 2012 giving them confidence going into the new season, They have signed 3 good players already in Asamoah, Isla and Giovinco and will certainly add to their squad before the season starts.
Main Rivals AC Milan are in financial mayhem and are unable to compete with Juve for money for signings at the minute and look like they will be expectant on Zlatan to fire them to glory.
Inter Milans season looks to be a bit unpredictable at the moment and Napoli have already lost a key player in Lavezzi and I would be surprised if at least 1 more of their frontline leaves.

me too, glad someone finally agrees with me. 5/1 is a very short price though, you could have got that in shop with Ladbrokes. Probably 7 at least somewhere online.

Such a strong midfield, they have the experience + youth and flair in that side to compete with anyone. could potentially be a side as good as the 04/05 one, only exception being they don't have Jose to get them going.

If they sign Maicon, can you imagine him and Ashley Cole, disgustingly good

Having a think about Aletico without the big 2 in La Liga.

Think Pellegrino may struggle at first with Emery getting the best out of a selling club. Interesting to see what transfers Malaga make because they stuttered to make the top 4 at times last season. Under Simeone, Atleti proved they could handle Europe and the league with 19 wins in his 31 games in charge. Not sure what they're doing with Diego yet, though.

Not too enamoured with the current 7/2 but only two firms up and the feeling is there might be too much favouritism to Valencia and Malaga.

Current anteposts:

- Barcelona 7/2 Champions League
- Watford 50/1 e/w Championship
- Port Vale 33/1 e/w League Two

Best sign a good striker, centre half and keeper now.  Was only looking at keeper at first but now they need the 3.

Shite odds and im sure some of you visionaries would have seen this bet a mile off, but ive just gone quite big  on Wiggins SPOTY @evens. He just won the tour de France and should pick up a couple of Olympic golds. Ennis is a threat but its not certain she is going to win her event

Murrray if he wins an open/the olympics could be worth it but i like wiggins for this

Rayo Vallecano to get relegated.

Had a terrible end to last season losing 9 of their last 11 games and have sold 15-goal Michu and 2nd top scorer Diego Costa has returned to Atleti.

Not really bothered with this, this year. I will however be doing this:
THE FACESPITTER HANDICAP FOURFOLD

For those unaware of the term facespitter, it was used by Racing Post's Steve Palmer to describe a bet which brings back so much, you can walk up to your boss on the Monday, spit in their eye and leave your job.

Stan James are offering really decent handicaps and these are the four that take my eye. If you put on £1.72, you can nab a maximum payout of £200k come the end of the season. I also state SJ because you don't have to deposit a fiver so it's worth a go for less than £2.

Anyone done theirs yet, and if so i'd like your thoughts on lower league teams.

25/1....Good work!

You gonna lay a bit of that 25/1 on Murray off?

It will be one of those two, both massive achievements. A cyclist won it last year which is swaying me towards Murray getting it.

Nah, I'll let it run. Its only a sneaky £20 as cover for my wiggins bet which was a silly bet in hindsight as it was a couple of hundred on an evens shot in a phone vote. Idiotic.  I cant see past these two either but got a horrible feeling about Mo Farah. Very personable, big smile, double chmapion, just had twins, everyone is doing the mobot. 20/10/12 Frankel to win Champions Stakes at ascot 1/9 : nailed on banker! Paddys offering 6/4 for 8 or more lengths, it's his last race and he has never been whipped and in the last race Tom Quelley the jockey didn't even come off the bridal. It's the last time we will see the great frankel so I think he will go all out, to get that stud value even higher. 6/4 is a good shout.

Only one player scoring goals for them, and he's bound to go through a dry phase at some point or get injured, reckon it's worth a few quid
