This is the least credible bit of information I've ever heard ;D

The worst itk source ever!

Aye, although this actually isn't bullshit, we doubted her an all until she showed us a pic of her son with Carragher ;D

Knowing him, he's probably on a wind up!

The Carra rumour doesnt make sense.

Makes much more sense that FSG have longlisted candidates for interview then chosen two to go to a second interview where they compete with Rafa.

Given Round two still has to take place for Martinez (and possibly Rafa) theres no way they will have come to a final decison yet.
I know you struggle with reading comprehension Carlitos, but do try to pay attention

This thread is hilarious. I'd like to make two points that I hope all posters will keep in mind:

1)We know nothing
2)The media knows even less

It sure is empowering to talk about "The Liverpool Way," though; if only we didn't have to experience it. I weep.

Speaking to one of the women in work today, her son plays for Liverpool Blind/Disabled Footy team and Carra goes to watch them quite a bit.

Apparently she got talking to him and he's said that Rafa's got the job.

The woman is 58, not an avid footy fan but knows that me and the other lads in the warehouse I work in is, so she told us all, fucking hope it's true.

Seriously though, it would be absolutely grand news if true. We'd be safe in the knowledge that old big ears would be safe from the likes of the mancs, Manchester City, Chelsea, arsenal. They'd be only one english club winning it.

Despite the fact that Arsenal got to the final in 2006, Utd and Chelsea got to the final in 2008 with Utd winning it and Utd again reached the final in 2009... no?

True (and Utd were in the final in 2011) but Benitez was not in charge of Liverpool then.

My money is still on Klopp, (at 300-1 i'll add :D) from something I heard in April, however, if you were FSG it would look a little weak from certain viewpoints to go straight ahead and appoint Rafa, it could be the reason they are taking the rather unusual step of interviewing candidates. When the process is over, 'After interviewing several candidates WE have determined RB to be the outstanding candidate for the position.

Klopp signed a new 5 year deal with BVB in January and absolutely loves the club. I have no idea why he'd want to come here.

I have the same thoughts, could be to do with various players leaving, 2 CB's, Lew, Kagawa, Goatze all linked elsewhere, they can only be self sufficient, giving them all wages they could get elsewhere would leave their revenue with a lot of catching up to do.

I said this a few days ago, it wouldn't suprise me if they all knew Rafa was best candidate, by a mile, unless the likes of Guardiola et al join the party, FSG are conducting interviews to make sure.
Not saying I'm right, I'm enough of a twat already without confirming it to everyone.

IF J-Mc's story has some truth in it and Carra said that, its possible what he meant was he knows who the candidate's are and he thinks Rafa's the most qualified/experienced/best man for the job?

Yeah, me too... warming to the idea he's talking to Randy Lerner about the job at Villa, after all they are relegation cannon fodder now, i'd prefer us aiming in the other direction.
