The cult like following for Rafa is fucking mental.

Well this is the same set of people who walked down walton breck road with the Rafatollah ;)

The strength of support never went away. You just couldn't say it whilst Kenny was in charge because he is Kenny Dalglish

What about people who don't want Rafa?

If you don't want Rafa back you're not a real Liverpool fan and the terrorists win.

Liverpool FC @LFC

Where do you think the new stadium of #LFC should be? Anfield? Stanley Park? Just outside St Helens? We can go it alone or share with anyone you like.
That's one thing I wouldn't mind the fans having a say in to be honest.

to be honest I'm quite impressed with him, if it's true. It would take some bottle to try and actually keep Swansea progressing, take them up a level again and get them established, that would be some achievement. Very admirable if that's what he's planning.

They're in Boston though.

He was interviewed on Talksport a month or so ago, and said himself he was happy where he was, and didn't feel he was quite ready for a big job just yet, probably still has doubts after he got his fingers burnt at Reading.
To be honest I admire him for it.

At the same time, there were fans who wanted Torres back. Lady boy is the one who left us when we needed him. Opposite to him is Rafa, he fought for us and was thrown out by the cancers. He still want to come to us. That is a win-win situation mate. It is not the time to look at the past on how he was treated. It is about how he should be treated

I agree, I just find it funny that so much anger was aimed at Rafa before but now people are praying for him to come back. If he does, I hope everyone would get behind him this time.

As far as I'm concerned, either Rafa or Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas would be my main option. Can't see the likes of Klopp leaving to come to us, Guardiola a non-starter, Capello likely to go to Chelsea, Martinez could be good but at this stage for Liverpool he's just too much of a risk.

I'm not a lover of Rafa but I respect what he did at the club. I think he's had his time and the club's in the process of moving on, let's not go back.

Why not go back? Seriously, if he is the best man for the job, why not?

I don't get this 'dont  go back' stuff.

And it's a disgrace that they wont. Protests for Rafa, saying that 'they will boo the manager' and 'try and get it hounded out for the first game if its not rafa'. In my opinion that is childish, disgraceful and embarrassing.

What entitles us to judge someone who hasn't even managed us for one game? I think whoever it is: Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas to Martinez, Lambert to Klopp. Every manager that steps foot in this club will have my backing until otherwise. Hodgson alienated the fans with horrible football, endorsing the cancers and being a liar.

We need to give whoever comes a chance.

This 100%.
I didn't want Kenny to go and would now like Rafa to return, but if someone else is appointed, I will be thoroughly ashamed if they are not even given a chance to impress by the bulk of our fans.

Don't want Martinez or Rodgers, but would've took Rodgers out of the 2. I think one of the main reasons he said no, is he dreams of the Chelsea job one day in a few yeasr. I feels if he came here his chance on that job may go.

Seen this a few times, but if this is the case, leaking the big names wouldn't appease the fans at all. In fact it would make the disappointment all the more dramatic when Martinez is appointed after we've been linked with Pep, Rafa, Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas and Klopp!
