If you think our clubs died, fuck off now you tit.
No need for that like, people are upset, but this isn't a school yard.
However, saying that, the last time I was in a school yard, we we're winning the league and I was still shitting my pants.
Total respect for Kenny as a man and our former manager. I am gutted he has gone, it was a nice sentiment for the owners to be swayed by public opinion in selecting him, but I'm a realist and I can see
why the owners would want a change in leadership. It's a pile of shit, I'm properly gutted, but there's nothing we/I can realistically do about it so I can only look forward and support the club I love.
Rafa Benitez has a good CV on record, he will be a good firm favourite, but I would seriously doubt the owners would want to re-appoint him, and I don't have any core foundation for that statement,
much like a lot of people haven't who are adamant, that it simply has to be Rafa Benitez. No it doesn't and that's, that.
In the past I have always stood by one of my favourite managers,
Martin O'Neill. After reading about some of the candidates, I'd pretty much still stick my neck out and say I'd prefer Martin O'Neill over the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Martinez, Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas and even glove puppet Capello.
But just checking on OddsChecker, which is a pile of shite anyway, I would like to add to this discussion that there is some shocking odds for candidates on there, and whilst I'm not a betting man, it is quite interesting to read who is defining the betting market. With Rafa, Martinez, Rogers, Rijkarrd, Boas all on the top of of the bookies favourites.
Pep Gardiola is also up there, but I'd tender a bet that he is more suited to the Chelsea Bumboys.
It's going to be an interesting few days, I just hope we don't end up like another Chelsea, like some has stated before, I don't think it will happen, and we are a better club, with better fans, but ultimately the realisation is that the Owners run the club and if they aren't happy well... things change.
