Yup, keep the merry go round turning. Sounds about as forward a thinking as they seem to be.

aye chopper i was trying to get in their mindset, and some fans?
Saw Geoff play many times. A classy player, but like most of the team then, as hard as nails. A true team player,  a true Liverpool player, something some of our current players have no idea about.

FSG will never hire Rafa. Mainly because Rafa wants full control, and he'd never get along with a DoF. Also he's traditionally outspoken about owners, and they know that. I can't see any way at all they would even consider him.
I'm fucking sick of this reasoning. Do we want owners who won't do whats best for the clubs because they're too scared of 'losing control' or do we want owners who give the best man the job, the one who can get us the league, can win us the champions league and has a pedigree? If our owners are really so spineless as to NOT employ rafa because their own selfish reasons stand in the way then they can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. I don't care about their image, I care about this club and us winning.
Enemy, at that time, and now, I cant think of anything good to say about her. She's still being a c*nt

Fuck Martinez.  Not good enough.  Deal with it.

Maybe he would be, maybe he wouldn't. I'm sure people said the same thing about Klopp when he first took charge of BVB. And I know for the fact people were questiong whether Antonio Conte would be able to hack it at Juventus or not. The thing is you dont know and neither do I. So calm the fuck down and atleast wait to hear what the owners have to say  for themselves before you start goin off on one.

Good job City didn't play by those rules or they would of sacked Mancini a couple of years ago.

City did play by those rules. They set their targets top 6 then top 4 then title challenge. Mancini hit those targets. Kenny sadly didn't.

One thing I'll say in defence is he looks like a man who would embrace our ethos and culture a lot more than Hodge Podge ever did or tried to and also tries to play free flowing passing football. I like him, but I don't want him here right now. Maybe in a few years.

Why a few years? We have to pick a manager up early for once. Not an already successful one. The hunger isn't as strong. The big names will only be short appointments.

We need a new young guy

i think its about time you went and did your homework mate.

what gives you the right to slate john henry?

he sacked a manager of a club he owns,no matter how we feel about kenny this is a results buisness and results wernt good enough.

should kenny have been given more time?,i think he should have personally but thats because i absolutely love and have the up most respect for him.

but im not john henry or fsg

How about he should have been given more time because we had a decent season and there is loads of potential to improve next season? We are going through managers like we are Chelsea.

I really don't understand people who have blind faith with owners

Whilst I'm devastated for Kenny and as I've said elsewhere he deserved the second year the idea that we may get Rafa back to finish the job he started fills me with an excitement i've not felt since Istanbul

Agreed. I don't think they'll go for him. And I think there are a few people still at the club that might not necessarily want him back, even if they won't be here in the next 2-3 years.

You'd be pessimistic about Klopp?!
Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas was a top manager who failed at Chelsea because he didnt get time. What are the odds that Klopp wouldnt?Dont get me wrong, brilliant manager, brilliant brand of football, but immediate results at a club like Liverpool under immense pressure is difficult.
What is the United line-up?
Webb, Riley, Wiley, Clattenburg, Dean, Dowd, Atkinson, Friend, Mason, Halsey and Probert

Gutted..But to be honest not so unexpected seeing the way FSG does business - when they sacked Commoli before the finals..I was hoping KD to be made the Director of Football - i think still a possibility.
i doubt it, thats a paper & desk job, right?

I'd him as an overseer, or ambassador role, with a seat at the boardroom.

Maybe there's no room sentiment, but there's still room for decency, and FSG have none of it.

How should it have been done then? With kleenex and flowers? It was a face to face talk and Kenny said it was done clean and decent. That's good enough for me.

The target was 4th, irregardless of cup runs. We finished 8th.
Well we're fucked then, if Liverpools target is not to win the league then we have just become another club.

4th equates to money, not success.

If they're committed to winning the league I guess there will be some massive spending this summer? If not, then they're not much better than the last shower we had.

I don't fucking care what happens to me on this forum but all of you absolute fucking c*nts who whinged on and on and fucking on about Kenny not being up to it can all fuck off. You don't deserve to breathe the same fucking air as him.

I am apoplectic with rage. Kenny Dalglish is an absolute legend and deserves better than this. The fucking Sky generation of "Liverpool fans" have no fucking idea about this club if you think we're better off without Kenny Dalglish at the head of this club. Football has just died a death for me today and being honest, the club that I adore has seriously dented my love for it as well. After one season. JW - I hope to fucking God that you come up with something or you will be just as fucking bad as the cancers. There is no quick fix for the misery and desolation that them c*nts put us into and sacking a club legend shows no understanding at all of football.

not this again, he only needed control as the club was in a mess full of infighting, and then we had H&G running the show. Christ almight, Rafa helped save the club with huge support from this forum. have a little respect man.

What worries me is who is advising our owners at present. Gutted Kenny has gone but equally appalled that we seem to have no plan in place.

Frank Mcpharland to be moved to DOF with a new manager coming in perhaps. Possibly even Rodolfo.

Don't want someone who has never won anything so god no to Martinez/Rogers and to O'Neil also.

Get Rafa back to finish the job he started. Or at least try to get a top manager in while our name can still attract them. I fear the wrong appointment now and we could be set back years

Listen, I love Rafa just as much as I love Kenny, but it's just what I think FSG would do. Of course i have no idea, but I see it as too much water under the bridge with Rafa and LFC, and they wouldn't want to revisit that. Of course I know all about Rafa's pedigree.
