Villa fans are far fetched if you know them personally, trust me. Plus it's not exactly surprising fans of most other clubs dislike Rafa with the media treatment he got.

The guys on Villatalk seem to think that they're in for Quique Flores, would be a good appointment for them if true. Still think someone like Martinez would be a good appointment for them but someone like Schuster would be even more of a shrewd appointment for a club like Villa.

you guys sensationalize this to a ridiculous level by cherry picking individual muppets. If you go by the bulk chatter on Villtalk as an indication they are dreaming of Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas or Rafa but expecting they'll end up with Lambert or Rodgers. But sure you can always post the anecdotal mouthbreather who spouts stupid shit and try and pass it off as the prevailing opinion

Apparently Lerner is flying to Norway to meet OGS currently managing Molde. Hopefully he'll get Villa relegated and therefore not use Villa as a stepping stone to manage Utd when Mr Ferguson retires.

Agree about rafa, literally if u ask any other football fan, they all think rafa did a bad job at liverpool. Just because he didnt win the premier league. Just goes to show the media influence here, when most non-liverpool fans will think redknapp and probably even moyes are better than rafa. really is unbelievable to be honest.

Im not gonna lie but it certainly did sound like it was the prevailing opinion a year ago. I think this is where Martinez should be heading next, the right next step for him.

i might be in the minority but i dont think hes that bad a manager, ok hes not a top 10 manager but for a team with limited resources he knows what to do i wouldn't mind him being Scotland manager again think hes been unlucky in his last two jobs at Birmingham and at villa

You're right about the game, but I'd much rather see it in the Championship. That way we don't have to play Stoke Rugby Club twice a year and Forrest get what they deserve for sacking an honourable, hard working, capable man in O'Driscoll.
