The price is too close, and while I appreciate the team is trying to make as much as possible, they are going to selling less shirts than they would at a lower price, and surely you want as many kids as reasonably possible in the shirts so they'll form that buying habit, and hopefully carry it into adulthood. They just playing the VAT thing, which really isn't very nice. I think 25-30 would be a fairer price.

But I'm sure they did their price point research.

4pool, remember in the UK VAT is included in the price tag, not added at the register. I think that is where the confusion is coming in maybe?

The first thing I bought in the US was a bottle of coke, 99c. I had my dollar at the ready, and the cashier said "$1.08 please".

The water level in toilets also weirded me out.

Yep.

But as I was being corrected about the £1 price difference when someone added the tax to the kids shirt.

I just did the same for the adult shirt to make the comparison equal.

As J-MC says the tax is in the price of the shirt. So there is a £10 price difference between the two--kids v Adult.

Yes, I checked all the major sports stores in Stockholm and it's nowhere to be seen. Had to order it online. The only Warrior merchendise I've ever seen are ice hockey related.
Saw the home kit in a small shop i Malmo center, the night before the launch, then again i saw, the away jersey, same place, the day it was launched, so i say, that Warrior does get around!

Can't wait to get my hands on the new kits(except the 3rd one). Gonna wait 'til I'm down for the City game and get theam at the Clubs  shop like a proper day-tripper haha.

Anyone know if you can take your shirt instantly after they put the shirt printing on or you have to wait about? Ta.

You wait at the printing til while they put the lettering/number on, then pay for it an take it away.

They say leave it for 24 hours to settle onto the shirt though so I wouldn't wear it straight away.

That kit is awesome!  Toronto's shirts were soaked and sticking to their bodies and we looked drier and more comfortable.

Without all the white detailing of the Adidas shirts, it looks more like a proper Liverpool jersey to me when all the players take to the pitch. Class.

Wonder if we'll play in the  away against Roma, then the third against the Spuds?

Will be interesting to see the other two actually on the pitch.

Gonna get my lad the home shirt for his birthday next week.

Question is do I get the LFC font (the one they used in the friendly the other night) or the PL one?

Just had a thought:

I think with all our other kits being so criticized and mocked and looking different, I think it makes out home kit mean more. It's THE red kit this year. The only one we've got. Our black training and away kits are just kits, and there's more focus placed on our home kit because of it. We've had more than one red shirt in previous years with the silly trim and bits of design on it. (Especially the training kits.) But this year is the first year since 2005 we've had a truly all red kit.

Red shirt. Red shorts. That's it. No stripes, no trim, and it's the only red kit we have so it stands out among the rest. We're going back to basics with this, starting again from the beginning.

I'm most likely reading too much into it all, but I think it's interesting to see our team out there looking like the Liverpool of old.

Went around Amsterdam yesterday and I think it's easier to get stoned over here than to get your hands on the Liverpool kit. Massive shame since it's the best looking kit we've ever had in the era of selling kits internationally and Liverpool are one of the most popular clubs over here. The other popular clubs'(Man United, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, Milan, Inter and Juve) kits are easily gettable, but no sign of the Liver Bird. You won't get one in the Dutch online stores either. Poor.
