Feels nice and looks different.

Nervous about snags etc and it'll be interesting to see how it lasts.

Bought the new kit today. Really chuffed with it, both in colour, material and fit.

My initial queries are with durability. Not sure how well the material will wash. Behind the main badge stitching it also feels quite rough and I wonder how this will shape as it gets more worn.

Love it.

Leightweight and comfortable.

I'll also add, that I wore it Sunday to the Mexico v Brasil match. It was 100 degrees outside walking to and from the stadium. Normally darker colors get hot, our Red kit didn't. In fact it helped cool.

Well impressed with the material.  :thumbup

Brought this up earlier in the thread regards the home shirt but it appears the same on the away too - anyone have any idea why those for sale in the us market only have an enternal flame on the back and not two flames and '96'????

I only got the shirt.

But having seen the shorts in the shop, i HATE that they seem to be a completely different material. Matt/cottony top, shiny/nylony shorts.  Looks ridiculous up close.

The top on it's own, i love.

If so, we'll have the best kit in the prem (home) IMO. The worst (this one). And the away somewhere in between the two(not sure if I like it or hate it just yet).
Also, the home and away, to me, look much better in the de-saturated publicity shots than the real thing.
Particularly the gunmetal grey on the away as it goes better with the gold Liverbird.

Baby kit is poor quality in my opinion.

Picked it up for 28 pound yesterday, size 18 - 24 months. Socks arent "official" just plain red and completely different colour to the shorts and top. Also bar the 96 all the badge etc are printed, can't imagine them lasting too long.

Baby stuff generally doesnt last as they grow so fast though...unless you buy it big and let them "grow into it"

28 quid is a total rip off though.

I made a promise that I'd buy every home kit till his 18th and keep them for him. That's the only reason I paid out.

When I said wont last I meant the lettering etc too.

It is not fake. Official warrior Liverpool jerseys sold by US Soccer retailers such as Soccer.com and World Soccer Shop only have one eternal flame and no 96 and second eternal flame.

I have to say, that's a real piss off. The 96 should be present on every jersey. If people don't know what it means, it would do them well to look it up before they wear the shirt. And obviously those of us that know what it means want it displayed. I don't understand the need to change it up.

You're right. The 96 should be on the shirt where ever it's bought. And if new people, to knowing about the club, see the kit and want one, well they can look into what it means. It's apart of us.

Are you sure? The pics on certain sections of the Warrior site (certain countries only) displayed the single flame, but Warrior tweeted saying that this was an error and then put the right pictures are up.

Has anyone actually got a shirt with only one flame on it?

I see that as well on their website. But i wonder if the product is actually correct.

Just picked up the shirt from a shop in St. Louis and it has the 96.  My guess is that an image of an early design was mistakenly put up, think I remember them deciding to use the 96 after consulting HFSG.

I really like it compared to the adidas material honestly. For lack of a better term, it felt much free-er. Adidas was a little heavy feeling.
Albeit, thats from a casual wear point of view, not wearing it during play and what not.
Only gripe I have, and it could potentially be a major one, is that after only 1 wash the little adhesive War Tech lettering already peeled.
Grinded my gears a little , but other than that I really like it.

Bought mine at Soccer Master, a small chain in St. Louis.  According to their website they also have locations in Phoenix and Kansas City if that helps anyone.  Employee there said they had just got them in today and that they would be getting some of the training line soon.

I love the design of the new shirt, but Christ that badge is going to chafe like mad on anyone wearing it. It looks rough as a badgers arse on the back of the shirt and shorts. They need to have some sort of lining to make it more comfortable surely?

I read that there isn't a player and replica version of the shirt either - its the same one that the players wear.

I took mine over to my mums this morning. Apparently there's something you can iron over the back of the badge (some lining) and it'll make it smooth. It's properly cheap so I'm getting her to do it.

I'm embarrasingly 28 (not 14) as well.
