Thought it was nice of Sky to show the lap of honour, considering I had a go at them the other day for showing Slugie's speech.

Seemed an emotional end to the season for some reason.

Carroll seems to have found home here. He's loving it :)

Top class. Kudos to team and the King.

We looked better than Barcelona have looked this whole damn season.

I hope we continue to play with the same intensity and we will win the league in next couple of years.  8)

Carroll's going to enjoy the after-match pint he buys with John Terry's dinner money this evening.  Bullied the absolute fuck out of him all night!!  :D
It was Ivanovic he beat the shite out of, Suarez was too busy giving Terry twisted blood.

Great result, Carroll was immense and some of the passing was delightful. Really fluid and great finishes from Hendo and Shelvey, two lads who have a bright future.

Great result, but anyone else finding it tinged with frustration, not so much the cup final, but the season as a whole. Yes Chelsea had a makeshift team out but it was still better than most of the shite that have picked something up at Anfield this season.

fair play to Sky  :o for showing the lap of honour

very enjoyable that. of course begs the question as to why it's only the 6th home win of the season, but there'll be plenty of time for discussions on that. related issue as to why we're missing so many penalties.

final point - our squad is not that strong at the moment (compared to our rivals), can we really afford to begin the summer by losing 2 such intelligent, gifted players like Maxi and Kuyt and making us even weaker before we begin?

Kevin Friend want's Chelsea to win the champions league
Friends performance was a joke 3 Chelsea players should have been off

If Kuyt and Maxi are off then decent replacements need to be found

Lucas will be like a new player next season he has been so missed.....

We need decent wide players to supply Andy and Luis

that would be top of my shopping list keep Downing (if we have too) and Bellamy and sign a decent LW and RW to supply the two attackers....

Nice to end the season with a bit of positivity and a chance to get above Everton. Shows the team can play well at times even if it was a bit of a fringe Chelsea squad. Let's get working hard during the summer to get up the table next season, I'm sure we'll have a much better season, and perhaps this poor league form might help build character.
If you'd told me in August 2012 that Benitez wins the Europa league, Moyes takes the reins at Man United, Wigan win the FA Cup and Jose wins fuck all, I'd have laughed you out the bar. :lmao

Well, that was a nice end to the season.  Would love to see this carry on into the next, especially Andy's drive (thank you Newcastle fans for booing him).

Adios Maxi, mi amigo.  I will miss you, your goals and your song.  Also goodbye to Aurelio, what might have been had he not been made of glass.  And if Kuyt is also leaving; Dirk Kuyt.  WORKS!

And yes, I know we have another game, but this was nice to watch and it feels like this is the last of the season for some reason.

Great, great entertainment. Wonderful football at times, too.

Carroll was unstoppable. Deserved a goal.
Suarez - loved how he kept running rings around Terry and Bertrand.
Henderson - I thought he was extremely impressive tonight. He took his goal really well, too. Neat finish and understandably delighted with it.

Every single one of them played well tonight. Unfortunate for Downing to not score but he seemed to lose his nerve when standing there to take the penalty, although as 5th Benitle said, it does take balls to actually take the penalty.

That'll do lads, that'll do! So where was this form earlier in the season eh boys? Good to go out of the season on a high despite Saturdays result still proud of my lads. Carroll putting his name in the hat for the Euros. May not have scored many goals this season but his presence in the air is only rivalled by one other in the league. Missed most of the game, but big up my fellow Reds for updating me with tweets and texts. R.E.S.P.E.C.T guys lol. Roll on Swansea!
