Apart from the official thread I couldn't find anything else and even that was far back on the Liverpool main forum. I've been out for a few beers, it's not even Friday and I can't sleep. Cantona in 96, Gerrard in 06 - I've grown up with the highs and lows of football even from 9 years old. Betting the Mancs at my Dad's favourite pub that we'd beat them, only to be given my shiny 2 pound coin back in pity - fuck that. We're travelling to Wembley for the third time, thanks to a legend who has returned, with the chance of winning more trophies than any team in England, despite whatever they are worth to any individual fan or club.
League form aside. There is a massive match this Saturday, one that I personally haven't experienced in my lifetime because unfortunately my ticket for the 2006 final was stolen in the post van and I haven't been able to afford to go to most of the matches in the cup this season. But I have still managed to attend two FA Cup Semi Final's - one at Old Trafford against Chelsea, one at Wembley against Everton and how amazing have they both been? Indescribable.
The FA Cup final might not be the end of the domestic season as it used to be in days gone by due to league games still to come, we may have thrown a fringe squad out midweek and lost, you might harbour hopes of better seasons to come, or anger in the way we have performed this season, but this Saturday we need a united front (and not a fucking man united one, they might win fuck all).
I just want to share my excitement for Saturday, a feeling in regards the FA Cup I haven't felt since 2006 when I was 18 and my brother was 14 and I'd finally converted him to the red side of Liverpool and we had run into a local pub run by scousers to watch the match, and the Champagne was immediately shared, at first especially with my younger brother after some amazing goals and displays from Steve Gerrard, Djibril Cisse and Pepe Reina.
We've been to Wembley thrice, thanks to this man, who would have thought that at the beginning of the season?

I see the Telegraph article talking about "Liverpool's record at Anfield under Kenny Dalglish sees a 'bastion of invincibility' looking anything but secure" but fuck that negativity. Let's get behind the team on Saturday, whether you are at the game, in a pub nearby, in Liverpool, further afield in the UK or watching at a silly hour abroad due to your passion- for the entirety of the occasion, lets remain one behind Kenny and the team. LIVERPOOL.
We're Liverpool. We're in a final and we're going to win it. If we can get behind the team like this when the times are good, we can do our best to get behind them like this for another trophy -
