Wow you can get Harry at 22/5, I'd advise people to jump on that, I will be!!

Also, Joachim Low 20/1 to manage Chelsea and Solskjaer 10/1 to manage Wolves next. Get your money on all three.

Redknapps dropped to 5/1

Hodgson still insists he was the right man for he Liverpool job and is blaming the fans for being fired? I don't know whether to laugh or cry at how delusional he is.
"It means everything to me - this is where I want to be...I am really happy right now. I've never wanted to go anywhere else. I feel I am a part of this club - and I want to be a part of this club in the future. I feel I belong here and as long as the manager and the owners want me, I'll be here."

so, when old Uncle Owl-face Hodgson royaly fucks up the England job, will all the self-righteous pricks who give it "Hodgson is a good manager. You Liverpool fans gave him no time, shouldnt have forced him out etc" give Roy any time whatsoever? will they fuck. in fact they'll find themselves in the same boat LFC fans were in 18 months ago. Can't wait for all the back-tracking from these twats when the inevitable happens.

Redknapps dropped to 5/1

I really think it will be Redknapp. This is clearly a courtesy to Hodgson to say that the FA respect him etc etc and that he remains an important part of their boys club down there. Its also a courtesy to Tottenham as if to say "sorry for fucking up your season, but we'll take the spotlight off yous and Harry for the next 3 games.... then we'll nick your manager.
Let us never forget Rafael Benitez and what he did for us. A fighter full of guts and passion. A gentleman full of class and dignity. A football manager full of intelligence and pure genius. A Legend.
Adios Rafa, buena suerte.

Your task is a simple one Brendan: make us dream again!

And then he got the job

Imagine that

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

The FA yet again beggars belief in how they deal with every single situation they have in front of them. It is truly astounding how they time and time again haven't got a fucking clue what they are doing, it really is, and to cap it off they are all getting paid vast amounts of money to do it!!

If I was not such an unpatriotic person I would be seething but fuck me they do know how to shit all over every decision they make. If they are really only talking to good old Roy and no one else then wow!! And they have the cheek to criticise FIFA and how they handle themselves......

Did they not learn from McClaren!?? The England job is supposedly one of the best jobs in the game. Would the mancs, or chelsea or barca, Milan settle for Roy when he has already had a shot at the top with us and unfortunately failed miserably?? Would they fuck. England parade themselves as some glorified Brazil, but in reality they have the FA who think they are making business decisions based on CV's and track records. It's a FOOTBALL manager you are appointing which should be based on talent, it's not a fucking CEO.

Roll on up, roll on up for the comedy showdown that is the English FA

Yes, the body that knows FA about everything surpasses itself yet again.

Just you thought they couldn't get funnier there they are making us laugh again.

Yes, why have your hotel anywhere near where you are playing when you can travel 5,000 miles just to play your groups games and possibly another 5,000 if they get to the final, no base yourself in a Polish 4th division team's shambles and wait until they tart it up. That's the equivalent of making a team fly to Bilbao once and Madrid twice, there and back in 8 days, with the prospect of repeating that if the tired bastards can manage to play.

Yes, why go for a successful manager or one that is popular, just find someone mediocre who's cheap, possibly because you've fucked up by overpaying your previous managers and paying up so many redundancy payments to the crap managers you've sacked.

Why worry about having John Terry as your captain twice when everyone outside Chelsea believes him to be an absolute bastard, even those who failed to see it had their eyes opened up last week as he lied on camera about his innocent. Captain of England, joke, not fit to captain a rowing boat. Horrible man but hey, FA had no problem until it was too late.

Absolute jokes

and as for Suarez and racism

What about this FA classic which still rumbles on

An up-and-coming referee has blasted Football Association’s decision to fine him for comments made on Twitter about his disgraced ex-boss.
Tom Carr, 20, of Putnoe, Bedford, has resigned after being hit with a £25 penalty and a three-week suspension for making remarks about the former Bedfordshire FA chief executive Peter Brown.
Mr Carr’s remarks came after he claims an email was sent around to county FA officials to contribute towards a going-away present for Mr Brown.
In September last year Mr Brown resigned after he forwarded a ‘racist’ email which depicted a black Scottish dog. He admitted to ‘bad judgement’ and apologised for any offence caused.
Having seen the email about Mr Brown’s leaving gift, Mr Carr tweeted a month ago; ‘Good to see our racist ex-Chief Exec of Beds FA is having a ‘retirement party’.
Because he completely deserves it… Not.’ ‘What a joke. Rewarding racism + having the cheek to invite us all to ‘celebrate’ not only a racist, but an awful man.’ His comments were reported to the English FA which upheld the charges and reprimanded him on April 3.
Mr Carr who had been refereeing since the age of 14 then handed in his resignation to Bedfordshire FA and vowed to never officiate under their control again.
Mr Carr said: “Peter Brown admitted to sending a racist email and when I was contacted by the FA I pointed out in my letter that they took a tough stance on the Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra issue yet haven’t brought their own staff to task.
“It’s outrageous. I was banned for three weeks missing county and leaguecup finals. Bedfordshire FA asked for donations and I didn’t agree with that.

The media will crucify him when he inevitably fucks up the Euros and comes out with some drivel about how well he's done considering Capello was such a shit manager before him

So, any idea on Roy's excuses when England are dumped out of the group stage?

"Well, it was very difficult for me from the outset, as people wanted a different manager, as was made very clear when I took over"

"I think Capello had caused so much damage in the national team set-up, that it was very difficult for me to really stamp my authority on this team"

"Joe Hart has not really taken my suggestions that he be more English in his approach to heart. The coaching team here have told him to whack it up to Carlton at any given opportunity, but he is not doing that. I think he has to ask himself: am I playing like England's first choice goalkeeper?"

"I think a 3-0 defeat against the Ukraine, while not ideal, is certainly not the be-all and end-all. We kept our shape well, the movement of the team was good, and our spirit was excellent. It's just a shame that everyone will be concentrating on the fact that we lost and are now, unfortunately, out of the European Championships. I'm just glad we weren't beat 6-0".

Hodgson for England !
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

He’ll lower expectations (and my god they need lowering), charm the press with some long words, win a few games, point out that no-one could do a better job than him (unless your name’s Fabio Capello) and that we should focus on grassroots and youth developent (this is correct, to be fair), and he’ll come out of it fairly unscathed. He wont, he might try, but he wont. Expectations never went down by any outside of our club over what he was really like, loads will get behind it like he is the right man and are willing to give him a chance, unlike those dirty scousers. The media know he is fucking shite really, they pissed themselves when we got him, fucking great rollercoster of a ride story for them. No one was mentioning Roy for it, it was all 'Arry, they dont want him anymore than we wanted him. Its fucking boss for us now as its backfired on the c*nts, because they have to give him a chance or admit we knew what the fuck we were on about all along.

The Gods will save him

I hear Henry Winter has something new to say on the subject.

Quote from: Henry Winter
I spoke to a few real professors and they have assured me that there isn't a microscope in the world that lets you really see atoms.  Also, dust consists of atoms and if there was such a microscope that could let users see atoms, they would have seen atoms in dust.  That has led me to think that sometimes I look at owl faced c*nts and think they are deep thinkers.  Sometimes maybe they aren't.  Maybe they are just owl faced c*nts.

Is it Roy that bad for England? I mean England dont have the players to play possesion style football against Spain, Germany et al. I dont think he is such a bad match.

Wow never heard of that. FA as hypocritical as ever.
