Roll on up, roll on up for the comedy showdown that is the English FA
Yes, the body that knows FA about everything surpasses itself yet again.
Just you thought they couldn't get funnier there they are making us laugh again.
Yes, why have your hotel anywhere near where you are playing when you can travel 5,000 miles just to play your groups games and possibly another 5,000 if they get to the final, no base yourself in a Polish 4th division team's shambles and wait until they tart it up. That's the equivalent of making a team fly to Bilbao once and Madrid twice, there and back in 8 days, with the prospect of repeating that if the tired bastards can manage to play.
Yes, why go for a successful manager or one that is popular, just find someone mediocre who's cheap, possibly because you've fucked up by overpaying your previous managers and paying up so many redundancy payments to the crap managers you've sacked.
Why worry about having John Terry as your captain twice when everyone outside Chelsea believes him to be an absolute bastard, even those who failed to see it had their eyes opened up last week as he lied on camera about his innocent. Captain of England, joke, not fit to captain a rowing boat. Horrible man but hey, FA had no problem until it was too late.

What about this FA classic which still rumbles on
An up-and-coming referee has blasted Football Association’s decision to fine him for comments made on Twitter about his disgraced ex-boss.
Tom Carr, 20, of Putnoe, Bedford, has resigned after being hit with a £25 penalty and a three-week suspension for making remarks about the former Bedfordshire FA chief executive Peter Brown.
Mr Carr’s remarks came after he claims an email was sent around to county FA officials to contribute towards a going-away present for Mr Brown.
In September last year Mr Brown resigned after he forwarded a ‘racist’ email which depicted a black Scottish dog. He admitted to ‘bad judgement’ and apologised for any offence caused.
Having seen the email about Mr Brown’s leaving gift, Mr Carr tweeted a month ago; ‘Good to see our racist ex-Chief Exec of Beds FA is having a ‘retirement party’.
Because he completely deserves it… Not.’ ‘What a joke. Rewarding racism + having the cheek to invite us all to ‘celebrate’ not only a racist, but an awful man.’ His comments were reported to the English FA which upheld the charges and reprimanded him on April 3.
Mr Carr who had been refereeing since the age of 14 then handed in his resignation to Bedfordshire FA and vowed to never officiate under their control again.
Mr Carr said: “Peter Brown admitted to sending a racist email and when I was contacted by the FA I pointed out in my letter that they took a tough stance on the Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra issue yet haven’t brought their own staff to task.
“It’s outrageous. I was banned for three weeks missing county and leaguecup finals. Bedfordshire FA asked for donations and I didn’t agree with that.
