Skrtel's only really reliable alongside Agger. He's dodgy alongside Carragher so moving Agger to left back just so Kenny's got an excuse to put Carragher in the team would be madness with Drogba and Torres playing.

Someone just called our player of the season a Prick. Because he says he never gave 100%. Well he didnt play well last night but that doesnt mean he wasnt trying. It was a very disjointed display because we made 9 changes. He was playing a game with players who have not been playing pretty much all season. Coates, Aurellio etc. I wasnt in the least bit surprised we were poor but to call him a Prick when he has one bad game after being so consistent all season is out of order.

I agree with you, but my point beeing if you have the red shirt on you give 100% no matter what game is comming up.
And last night a lot of the players NEVER had that pride in the shirt.

Actually really nervous about this game and have been for a while. The midfield for me is the biggest concern, I could see someone like mata exploiting the lack of a defensive shield like he did against totteham once they went 442 and recieved a battering.

Playing a battering ram like carroll will only play to terry and ivanovics strengths. Both of them are great in the air while their box pretty weak when it comes to dealing with movement and runs in behind, ala bellamy and luis.

Shankly might despise something of the performances we have given this season, but he'd know that Skrtel possesses real quality, spirit and determination for this club and it's fans. He's a marvellous player who has stuck with us throughout some tough times.
