What happened in the other one, unless one was a draw and went to a replay?

Nothing, this will be my 8th FA Cup final on Saturday.

My first FA Cup final.....Im gonna be honest, this one's far more important than the carling cup final.

I think its probably because I hate them so much. I hate everything their shitty club stands for. I hate the rentboy striker I adored for years that hopped off and left us to leave for 'a big club'  :wanker I hate their plastic fans who 90% have only been supporters of the club since 2006 when they had millions from a russian. I hate their arrogant players, Drogba, Cole,Terry, Lampard, they can fuck off! I hate they think they are a bigger club than us. But most of all, I HATE the few hundred gutless, clueless, uneducated, mindless, insensitive, twats that disrespected 96 of our beloved family a few weeks ago. That is unforgivable.

Losing is not an option. It would be inconceivable to think that i'll have to stand there and watch them lift that cup. No chance, not Saturday. This is our time, and Kenny will lead us to glory for the second time this year.

Bring it On!!!

Well fuckin said  :champ

I hope England Manager Roy Hodgson is there to meet the two teams!!

 ;D

Think we should be playing Kuyt in this one.  Big game player and all that.

It could play into are hands. Torres has another good game against Newcastle and plays his way into the team. Drogba has to play because he is part of the 'old guard' and Terry demands it. Chelsea change tactics to fit both in. We Win! Easy!

David Luiz and Cahill have hamstring injuries right now.  Bosingwa played in central defence today.  Chelsea are in great form but they are playing mostly the same team to keep that form.  For the final it will be three straight weeks playing twice a week.  Their mid-week game is really vital for them because if they lose to Newcastle they will be four points behind Newcastle with two games to go, and Tottenham have the easiest run in.  So they have to play close to their strongest side three days before the final and we can play whoever we want four days before the final.

Scoring the first goal is huge.  We can't seem to break down teams that defend very deeply, and Chelsea are perhaps the best "park the bus" team in the world.  They also have lots of speed to counterattack.  If we score first they will have to come out and attack us.

Not sure either of them would play even if they were fit. Terry and Ivanovic are both out of the CL final so I'm not sure they would risk losing another CB.

Sadly they are not a park the bus team, I wish they were but they ain't. Yes, they sat deep against Barca, but who doesn't.

I think that is media hype.  The Barca game was not an example of a defensive masterclass.  They won due to Barca's poor finishing.  A defensive masterclass would have involved Chelsea stopping the chances from arising.  They didn't really do that in the first leg.  Nonetheless, I agree that the first goal can still be huge in a game like this.  For all the hype both teams are going to be really nervous.

It's a good thing that Chops, we struggle against that type of team, this was the reason I was so confident about yesterdays game, we are such a more potent team when playing counter-attack football, and I knew Lambert wouldn't let his team sit deep adainst us.
If Chelsea come out and try and play, we'll beat them, if they let us come onto them, they'll win.
It really is that simple.

It really is that simple.

I've been banging on all season about our Achilles heel with that park the bus/lesser type teams. It's become that obvious that we struggle against that sort of set up that for the first time in 5 years Ferguson came to Anfield and didn't try to beat us and finally walked away with a point for his troubles. He gets it, we don't for some reason and it's been like that for ages now and comparing the two(us and the mancs) to get something out of us, sit deep. To get something out of the mancs, have a go at them.

And you're spot on about teams who try/think they can beat us, it plays right into our hands thats why we've had good results and unjust(against us) ones as well to be fair against Arsenal, Utd, City, Chelsea etc, teams that play us and have a go and try and win, they give us the space we need, were as the PTB teams, they give us none and we run out of ideas after about an hour.

I, like you, hope Chelsea really have a go at us, they'll score, but so will we, but I reckon we're better organised at the back and can get between them, which we've shown twice already this season. Bring it on, but I am shitting it tho!

I would have thought the lads who are banned from the CL final will all start for them as Di Matteo will try to play it fair.

So I think they will play

Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry and Cole
 Meireiles, Lampard, Ramirez
Mata, Drogba, Sturridge

The good thing about that is their midfield has not got a tackle in it so the likes of Gerrard will be able to find space in between de lines.

Will they go with Drogba in both finals or will they share that out with Torres. Personally I hope they play Torres, he's far more likely to do nothing than Drogba in a big game.

We can do this, imagine how perturbed the FA will be when we win their cup.

4 goals but...

Fuck that, my granny would of scored against QPR today, they defended like a bunch of drunk toddlers for the majority of the game. And the Barcelona chance was piss easy. He had all day to plan what he was going to do.

Danny Agger will be on duty to put that sulky clown on his arse again if needs be. It'd be Drogba I'd be worried about, hes playing well in all the big games hes played in recently and will no doubt con the ref on many occasions too with his diving.

Im bricking it already. There's just so many reasons as to why I despise the entire pathetic excuse of a club that is Chelsea FC. I saw most of it being mentioned in here earlier in the thread but the way they disrespected the minutes silence for the 96 was just too much for me to take. Then there's the Torres mess, them wanting to buy every player that has ever scored against them and of course the newfound arrogance of their supporters.

If I could punch anyone in the world in the face my choice would be John Terry. Disgrace to the human race.

Even though my head says differently my heart yearns for a twatting of epic proportions. Were still due for a four goal win aren't we?
