This final. I was more nervous about the Everton Semi final, but Chelsea are hitting form. We may not be favourites but I'm thinking we'll do 'em

Romantic reasons? OK..

Carragher is a far better player than you're giving him credit for.

Not this year, he has been a liability.

Carragher doesn't deserve to start ahead of Skrtel and Agger based on his performance this season.

Simple as that.

Whatever has happened in the league we need to put that to the back of our minds. Its shit, but hey, get over it!

We've got a massive game on Saturday and an opportunity for this season to be positive and win the double, and give the two fingers to that blonde twat that left us for 'a big club'. I cant wait to get down there now!

Lets get behind the lads, stop the whinging about the irrelevant game last night and lets twat the cockney, plastic, rentboy, inbred c*nts!!

We're on the march with Kenny's army, we're all going to Wembley!!

Think we might go with Glen-Carra-Skrtel-Agger.

Think we might go with Glen-Carra-Skrtel-Agger.

Would much prefer Glenn-Aggrr-Skrtel-Enrique.

Carra's simply going to hoof the ball up the field at every opportunity to have Chelsea's midfield win every header or 50/50 ball and pack the pressure back on our back 4. This will continue in a cycle for 90 mins with no opportunity for anybody up front for us ever getting the ball.

Can not wait! We usually always put in a good performance in the big games. Even when we have lost in the past in the big match's we have usually put in a good effort. Maybe that's what is wrong with the club at the moment, the arrogance of not taking every game seriously.

Quite fancy us on Saturday, dissapointed that Friend is the referee but we will have to adapt. Chelsea have started playing to suit their players with a deep line, playing direct when they have the ball. Skrtel & Agger could be the key how it develops. Also think with their deep line, maybe diagonal crosses to Carroll in the box could cause problems, if we get runners from midfield!

Bring them on!

Win the cup by beating Liverpool at Wembley, see Atletico win the Europa League a week later and then fullfill your dream by winning the Champions League in Munich.

It's not the fact that Carragher pumps it long for me, it's the fact that Skrtel ( player of season) and agger have been better than Carra the whole season. Agger is wasted at left back and we have a perfectly good full back in enrique.
Love Carra, what he's done for us but time has come for kenny and management to realise he shouldn't play.
If he does and fu&ks up then what I think of a legend will diminish.

No place for resentment in a final.

Sounds like Andy tried hard last night, I'd start with him with Bellamy and Suarez off him, that said we need to isolate Suarez with there centre halfs so he can turn them inside out.
Gerrard, Henderson and Shelvey behind and then the back five that have been very good this season.

Subs - maxi, Carra, sterling, spearing, doni, downing, kelly

Can't wait, let's have em

There is absolutely no reason for Carra to start if Agger and Skrtel are fit.

I'd like to see Andy play because he is very, very helpful when defending set pieces, something Chelsea is dangerous from. Other then that give me three in the middle with Gerrard advanced, no Downing and Luis on fire.

Agree. Surely Gerrard, Suarez, and Carroll have to feature along with Bellamy. The dilemma will be Maxi given how he along with Bellamy were key to defeating them the last 2 times.

Or lose the FA cup to his old team, Atletico get beat in the final and Chelsea get battered in the Champions League final and he doesn't get off the bench :)

and ends up with no trophies to show for his move to a BIG club.

We really need to come out all guns blazing at these fuckers as ending the season with only the CC to show for it will just make us focus on how bad we've been in the league.

Lets fuck em up

I would Play Andy Carroll

Only problem is, for that we need to play 2 up front with andy and luis.. and 2 in the midfield, and we need 3 in midfield against rent boys.

I fear we will get a beating here, chelsea are in form, even Torres is, that tells u something. We lack defensive midfielder to be bossing this game around, not only that, Gerrard is the only player in the midfield with some sort of quality.

For long while I have been thinking that the only two sides who win something this year will be us and city. That is the dream.

Us with a carling / FA cup double and city take the league. Chelsea flounder in the CL.

That would be perfect. That is something to build on next season.

I know mate  :(

Sorry to say, but if Stevie plays in CM on Saturday my opinion of Kenny's tactical awareness will drop considerably. He shouldnt be allowed anywhere near that position ever again. he's much more effective up supporting the striker and if he was on the right of a forward 3, he would put in some great balls for Carroll with Suarez and Bellamy to support.

Like you say though....will prob never happen

if Andy Caroll is playing, i might as well have Aurelio instead of Enrique. the way he was wipping in crosses for Andy was a delight to watch yesterday against fulham, enrique has a good engine but i feel his crosses and game intelligence is on a slightly lower level compared to Aurelio and he could come in handy with free kicks too.
