Had a great day out with some great Reds in a game that's essentially meaningless. Not really read what's in this thread. But I bet of shower of 'Liverpool fans' that never fucking go and never will go are whining about fucking something.

Fell in love with the game again today. Sunshine and NOT Hodgson in charge. King Kenny is a great man and I'm honoured whenever I see the man in the dugout. Love the club. Love the City. Love OUR football.

That's RAWK Andy full of c*nts that would never go, have bought into Sky's top four ahead of Shankly's winning trophies and are shit scared of getting stick off their Man U supporting mates in work tomorrow!

So if Clarke is off in the summer.. one would presume the irrepressible
Sammy Lee will return...

why was Lee dispensed with in the first place?

I don't see it mate.  He bought Key players for substantial fees I agree with you.  But in my opinion, nowhere near did he spend the same in comparison......and what if any of Kenny's signings can be considered Key?  I honestly wouldn't mind if we went back to January 2011 with a clean slate and didn't have any of Kenny's signings at the club.  I wouldn't miss one of them.  Honest.

Kenny has to come out and said the signings were his responsibility. What was the alternative? To portion the blame on Comolli as he was leaving and show little to no belief in the new players? Sure, it would've elaviated some pressure and some people would've had a higher opinion of him but it's a pretty cheap and classless thing to do, and to Kenny, those who matter will understand all this.

What's wrong with me having a view Jmc or Rusty? I may not put it well in your eyes but? It's my view is what counts & isn't that what we're on this forum for? Like I said? I think we've clearly & definitely focused in one particular direction with our transfers & squad building this season & further? It's been to the exclusion of all else including a number of factors & qualities or present squad could have done with.  I think that whilst we have a much stronger squad than a few seasons of late? There's a definite mental weakness to this one & that it's been caused partly by that transfer policy I mentioned which given that they employ Kenny & Commolli, Clarke et al? FSG are ultimately the ones to answer for as quite clearly IMO? It was driven from somewhere above & beyond Kenny in terms of promoting That Transfer Policy ahead of all else for us this time out - In the league? It's been an unmitigated disaster in short & left us with more work to do than before which prob' wasn't at all the idea when we began last summer...........................

At the end of the day though, we've become a mid-table team largely due to our signings since Kenny came in. If you accepted that, as I did months ago, then we wouldn't all be flinging our own faeces at each other in here.

Agree. There were a few boos again today though. To be honest, I quite enjoyed the day.

It was a no pressure game really and once more things went against us but so long as we get some of lady luck on May 5th I won't complain too much.

We've had a bit of luck in the Cups this year and next to nothing in the League.

Suggest you Read what I put properly Jayo? I blame FSG & whoever advised them that English young talent is the way to go the exclusion of all else - I think the bit where I say "FSG Thought they could apportion all the blame on" Commolli should give you a clue? Where in that have I said that Damien? Was solely to blame? Quite clearly he wasn't & the drive to 'Buy British'? Came from elsewhere - Kenny may have had some part in it but to blame him entirely as you are? Is quite a stupid as blaming Damien alone would be (i.e. what you accused me of).  I've said just now & evidently you didn't listen?  I blame FSG not solely Damien Commolli, certainly not solely Kenney Dalglish but FSG - You know? The ones Above them both? Put it this way - the 'Buy British' Drive that they both (Commolli & Kenny?) embarked upon? Didn't just appear in our transfer plans or whichever team was directing it no? It had to be driven from & originate from somewhere yes & sorry to say but That? (British young talent, resale value, local talent influx etc)? Has all the hallmarks esp' re the publicity surrounding it of an American Led intiative - And like such intiatives? It ignored the realities of the situation somewhat in favour of a narrow minded singular vision to the exclusion of All else - With in the end? Wholly predictable results..........

Great game today. Did more than enough to win but fortune never favoured us.

If you want to whine. Whine a fucking way. Meanwhile us Reds are off to Wembley. Again.

Still work to do. But I fucking love this club. :) Did enough - AND managed to hit the crossbar and post again :)

Good to hear. Seems everyone who went to the game has said the same.

Fair point.

However, call me a purist, but one of the reasons I support Liverpool is because over the years, the football has been exciting to watch. If I want a great day out, I'll go to Alton Towers.

If you look at the spine of our team and what it's been over the whole season, I think what I said if a fair summation. A bit of bad luck with injuries to Lucas and Gerrard and having to rely on players who aren't good enough to replace them has been our problem.

Kuyt wasn't a Kemmy signing and he was the worst on the pitch today. Just awful, every second touch was a tackle and that early miss set the tone.

Carroll actually played pretty well today but the delivery to him is lamentable.

Seems everyone else is to blame for Carroll not scoring enough.
Rafa Benitez. The man who made us dream again.

Will people fuck off with pictures of cats and shite like this. It's a football forum for christ sake.

If showing respect to the 96 and other victims of Hillsborough on the 15th is seen as unacceptable by other teams fans then I am glad I support Liverpool and understand some things are more important than football

I couldn't believe how early people were leaving today, walking out from about 80 minutes onwards when we were only 1-0 down
