Cheers.
Always been grand when Ive got normal tickets.
Just wondering if anyone has done this for the Carling cup final or semi final?
I did it for the Semi - ordered my mates ticket through my online account and his ticket arrived at my address as expected.
Too many fucking drama queens in here - if the arl arses had their way we'd be pushing burning tyres down Anfield Road.

After doing a bit of Maths and assuming that the club still agree that 65% of applicants got lucky, there were 9823 people applying for 6385 tickets. This may help give people some idea of how far the waiting list stretches (3438 people on the waiting list)

If we win then unsuccessfull ballot members should get 1st dibs on community shield tickets. It's gonna be a mad dash for them playing the mancs at villa park. Bout 15,000 each after 'the football family' have been sorted out?

I'm reading on another forum that if you require an adult to accompany a child to the FA Cup final, and the child was successful in the ballot you can use a fan card that is on the waiting list to get the adult & child ticket combo. Is this true and if so how does it work? People have already been told if they're successful so how can someone down the list who is unsuccessful get an adult with the successful child in the ballot? Confused 'ere

I was thinking about this earlier. Only reasonable way they can do it is have x number of tickets not put into ballot number so these can go to the unsuccessful parents of successful kids in the ballot?

It doesn't make sense to me. It reads to me that I could simply get a mate who has a successful Fan Card in the ballot and he could use my unsuccessful Fan Card to easily get a child ticket, even though I was unsuccessful...

Any successful juniors (aged 16yrs or under) must be accompanied by a paying adult, therefore the Club have made provisions to allow you to purchase an adult ticket. That attending adult must also meet the selling criteria for the final, i.e. be a Member/Fan Card holder, who has recorded 5 FA Cup games on their customer record during the 2011-12 season and registered for the ballot.

Please note: we cannot offer online sales for adult/child and disabled tickets.

The club know how many juniors have been successful and have set aside a second ticket so that an adult can accompany them to the final.

My understanding is when a child is pulled out the hat, 2 seats are made available. Anyone with 5 credits can accompany the child so long as they were in the ballet, successful or not. If a successful member accompanies the child, there will be 1 ticket to go to the next person on the waiting list

It's just occurred to me then that they took dates of birth when registering for the ballot... So that must be the case...

Unsuccesful in the ballot and having to pay double as a result. Not overly annoyed as thats less than I anticipated but at 1350 on the list I wasn't waiting to hear from that shower at the ticket office.

Anyone still not had an email?  :o

It might be with the e-mail address you first registered with the fancard/ member's card.

My brother put in his e-mail address for the ballot, however, the Congratuations e-mail went to my mum's e-mail, the e-mail the fancard was orignally registered with.

My son was successful in the ballot, I'm a ST holder who bought tickets for 4 mates on Tuesday ! I'll be getting 1 adult ticket tomorrow, one of my mates is going to have it and my son can sit with me, so the extra adult ticket will be left for next on the waiting list.

Thought we may have a junior membership but just checked back through purchase history and it's now been showing as an adult for the last couple of years....strange. Don't think I'm going to be able to debate this with the TO/customer services tomorrow whilst at working trying to find a window to log on and pay for our 2 out of 4 successful memberships.

Pretty sure the type of membership is not important (Junior membership is only 'supposed' to be for up to 12 years anyway).
My lad (12) was entered as a child into ACS but on my wife's adult membership.
Was also drawn as child in the CC ballot, again despite being on the adult members card (did have a child ticket recorded on it from the semi though).

Shouldn't they know your d.o.b anyway. Otherwise it would be worthwhile half of every group entering an under 16 age.
