Well, they are from Nike so any hope of using the Liverbird in its correct form is out of question. Secondly, they are from Nike and designed in the U.S. by a basketball player which almost automatically makes them hideous.

I've been trying to ignore anything to do with James, hoping it would all go away. I'm surprised we don't have a whole range of cynical cross-marketed plastic shit to choose from already.

It seems like someone is just having a laff with these though. Warrior will probably bring out the Official Version as soon as they can. Which is sad. Because this level of idiocy doesn't become acceptable just because the shit is ascetically pleasing or Ayre approved.

Anyone can make these and have them look 'official'. They're not 'fake', but neither are they officially endorsed products by LFC.

Just go on the Nike website and click on 'NIKEiD' customised trainers. Design your own, and sell them.

Also think 'LeBron 9' is the name of the shoe. Doesn't mean LeBron has designed them or sells them. Nike have a shoe called LeBron 9, and someone has customised it to look as horrendous as possible.
