Chelsea have had an incredible amount of luck under Di Matteo. I'm not even being bitter (well maybe a bit), but it's honestly mental. I can't think of many games under him where they haven't been insanely jammy at some point.

They really have, two offside goals against wigan to give em 3 points, a goal that wasn't a goal against totteham and facing  a barca side that made our finishing look top class.

They will defend for their lives until/if  Barca go 2-0 up. Then obviously they have to go all out.

I expect an even more defensive display with Drogba being used to hold up the play, waste even more time than he did today and draw as many fouls as possible.

He won't be afforded the same treatment by the referee in Spain.
The one most important thing that we all must remember, in case it slipped our mind, is this club is much more important and bigger than anybody. I'll never forget that and anybody that does is being a wee bit irresponsible and stupid I think because the club is more important than any one individual. The Club is, The Club.

got to admit Chelsea is the better team than us at the moment in terms of players' quality and reputation in Europe.
We desperately need CL  :'(
That the same Chelsea we've beaten this season?

I'm sorry, but this is Barcelona we're talking about, arguably the greatest club team all of time. Credit to Chelsea, but  let's be honset, they've been very fortuitous to overcome both Napoli and benfica prior to tonight. One goal lead going to the Nou Camp?No chance! Good night, good riddance, get out Chelsea you plastic c*nts!

I've genuinely never seen anything like it. They should have lost to Benfica in both legs as well, and Tottenham battered them in that 0-0 they got in the league. Also there was that non existent penalty at Fulham when they were playing fucking shite.

I cant see Barca missing as many clear cut chances again and would expect them to create more at home.

To be fair that's what absolutely everyone thought about tonight aswell. Chelsea were like 8/1 to win tonight and 4/1 to get a draw.

different when chelsea are at home.Im going for a barca win by at least 3 goals. And id rather put money on that

That's more or less as bad as i've seen Barcelona play this season and they still could have scored what 5 goals? I'd hazard a guess that they will score at least 3 goals in the second leg which means Chelsea will need two next week. Not gonna happen.

Chelsea's luck has changed under Di Matteo. The old guard may all be trying for him but there is only Terry and Cole anywhere near their best. However, the biggest change is luck. Barca should have scored 3 anf could have scored 5 or 6.

Fabregas and Alexis getting hammered on Barca forums, not surprising I guess, both have boss individual stats but dont look like they've knitted in properly yet. They miss Villa badly, even if he wasnt at his best earlier this season.

That could have easily have been 5-1,and it should have been.If Barcelona had been played off the park by Chelsea then you could understand people being concerned, but this tie could and should be over.

Plus Messi had 0 chances tonight.

If Barca would of played a forward on the left instead of Fab then it of been game over already.

Chances are Chelsea will be blown away but they weren't meant to have much chance in the first leg either. You just never know with football.

Shades of our final against Barca in that match really, but Chelsea had more luck in terms of Barca's profligacy. They start the game shanking you about the place, you get one quality breakaway that you HAVE to take and both us and Chelsea did it and you go right back to being put to the sword for the rest of the match. It's frustrating to watch when you're on the receiving end of it  :'(
In our case we got destroyed and probably could have been hit for 5 or 6 had Barca not taken their foot off the gas somewhat after Villa's goal, whilst Chelsea were merely lucky that they didn't have their shooting boots on tonight. They'll get done in the second leg.

Can't believe Fabregas stayed on as long as he did tonight. They needed another winger on and Iniesta in the centre, he's a little wasted playing out wide, for me.
