The way he sat there with the FA Cup trophy in the goalmouth after the game at Wembley says to me he is an egoistic attention seeker. Great footballer, but capable of cringeworthy numptyness.
Voyager-1 is on course to approach a star called AC +793888, but it will only get to within two light-years of it and it will be tens of thousands of years before it does so.

I'm delighted for Drogba I really do find it hard to dislike him, think he is a fantastic football and the work he does external to football is simply remarkable. Shame it meant Chelsea had to win the CL.  People think of Suarez how a lot on here think of Drogba, both dive and feign injury often necessarily, however both are also accustomed to unbelievable moments of magic.

Now he has time to stake his claim for being one of the world's best. No doubt they'll probably splash 50m on another striker though. Or Lukaku just terrorises defences now instead of Drogba.

If he goes to China. I feel sorry for Chinese defenders. They are usually quite small and he is just gonna tear them apart.

He's certainly not a horrible man. Horrible men don't do charity work and build hospitals in Africa.

He is a bellend to play against, both for his ability and his theatrics. But not a horrible man. Man and player are different people.

A fantastic player with a good couple of years left yet. Most of the top teams, if not all in the prem would take him. I'll be sorry to see him go actually. Can't understand Chelsea on this one.

He's 34 and still demanding mega wages, not surprised they aren't giving him what he wants.

If he cared about the club as much as he says he does, he would take a pay cut.

Agent has now denied the move.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1075955/didier-drogba-agent-denies-chelsea-exit-talk?cc=5739

The agent of Didier Drogba has moved to distance the Chelsea striker from quotes claiming he has already decided to leave Stamford Bridge.

An article in France Football magazine quoted the Ivory Coast star as saying he was planning "another adventure" away from West London and that he had tearfully informed his Chelsea team-mates of the decision during the parade to celebrate their Champions League triumph.

"We (he and his team-mates) will not be together next season," Drogba was quoted as saying. "As I have decided to leave, I wanted to tell them to their faces.

"They made me break down. I found it hard to admit that it was finished with me and the club. But I don't envisage sitting on the bench watching others play at a time when the club is looking at putting together a new team.

"So there we go, I am readying myself for a great leap into the unknown. It will be another adventure."

However, the veteran Chelsea striker's representatives have since insisted that the comments in France Football "are not genuine", though the magazine is standing by its article.

Drogba, 34, scored a dramatic late equaliser for the Blues in Saturday's Champions League final before netting the crucial penalty in the shootout as he ended the club's long wait for a maiden European Cup triumph.

His future has been the subject of conjecture for some time and he has been strongly tipped to join former strike partner Nicolas Anelka in China, where the Frenchman is currently player-manager at big-spending Shanghai Shenhua.

Where did I say he wasn't? I'm judging him on his footballing talent and ability. Was Maradona a saint? (not comparing him to Maradona before you jump) Yes he's let himself down in that regard, so has Ronaldo which is why he doesn't get as much credit as Messi does at times, but you can't argue that he's contributed a huge amount to nearly all of Chelsea's trophy wins since he joined the club.

I like him a lot, always have. Had he of played here he would of been worshipped for some of the things he did at Chelsea. People often talk about Drogba & just whine about his diving but seem to totally write off that he's an incredible footballer, one of the very best we've had in the premiership imo. I'll never forget the volley he scored on the turn against us at the Bridge with his back to Carra. Sensational goal & the way he tore us apart when Chelsea beat us 4-1 at Anfield.

Goodluck to him, shame he's leaving really, would love him to stay.

Sign that Roman wants an overhaul IMO; yes they've won 2 big cups but the league wasn't good enough and if they still persist with 'the old guard' they wont do much better next season; this is why I don't think he's too keen on Di Matteo for permanent boss either - think he wants someone with a fresh approach rather than simply sticking with the big guns which to his credit worked in the short space of time he's been there - he just used common sense really after the backlash against Villas-Boas.

I don't think I've heard or read a single person say that actually. He is obviously a superb footballer, a complete 'number 9' at his best, it's just that some (including me) can't see past his cheating, time wasting, and pretending to be injured. He's taken all that to another level and I think it will rightly stand in his way when discussing his greatness as a player. Without the antics he'd be universally hailed even though he played for Chelsea as he really has it all as a player.
